Pigeon River Inn

We stay here every year for our anniversary - always enjoy a balcony suite with jacuzzi tub and fireplace! This location is very conveniently located and is quiet. The front desk staff has always been extremely friendly and efficient. Free breakfast is nice!

The hotel was nice and convenient to a lot of stuff and the staff was very nice. We would stay again.

The reviews and photos are deceiving. The room was filthy. After buying cleaning wipes and cleaning it myself, I realized the shower was moldy and beyond what I was willing to clean. We were moved to a new room which was equally as bad included crusty wash clothes in the shower from the last guests. When I talked to the front desk, they were very nonchalant as if the conditions were usual to them. I would not stay here again.

My room and beds and bath were very clean and comfortable and generally in good shape. I brought lysol wipes to double check furniture surfaces and the wipes were clean after I used them! The staff was responsive and helpful. The walls were well painted and not blemished by human wear and tear. I recommend, however, that the toilet seat in the bathroom be replaced because it missed some parts and the cover was scratched. I also recommend that the doors to the room and to the bathroom be touched-up where the surface was chipped or scratched. Also that the elevator walls be touched up where there are scratches and that the plant stands out front be removed because the piles of dirt in them detract from the entrance. Also that the little rug in the lobby in front of the elevator be replaced because it shows wear and tear.

Great stay at the Pigeon River Inn! Clean and comfy room and bed, nice breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, waffles and more! Very reasonably priced. I’ll be back!!

BEDS TO HARD MUST HAVE CHANGED THEM SINCE OUR LAST STAY! We have stsy at this hotel many times because of the doft comfortable beds cleaness..BUT ON A SIDE NOTE WHEN SOMEONE HAS A DO NOT DESTERB ON THE DOOR THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT MEANS!! YET NOW YALL CALL THE ROOM WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING BECAUSE WE WATCHED A LATE MOVIE BECAUSE WE WERE ON VACATION WE DONT WANT A CALL TO ASK IF WE NEED TOWELS OR WHATEVER ITS RUDE!! ON THAT NOTE WE DID NOT STAY ON OUR LAST DAY NOR WILL WE STAY AND THIS HOTEL AGAIN... GREAT HOTEL AS FAR AS CLEAN AND FRIENDLY.. BUT PEOPLE THE BEDS ARE "HARD"

We reserved two rooms and we requested joined and got that. Breakfast is very basic but nice and hot. Coffee was so nice in am. It was quit and we all had no problems sleeping. We did stay in January so it wasn’t as busy. Staff was very friendly. And our rooms most importantly were clean!!! Beds bath floor and windows all cleaned.

I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that neither my wife or myself found the mattress to be comfortable.

Nice place. The gentlemen who checked us in was very professional and pleasant. Great price and very convenient area. Only complaints were I found a hair on the toilet. Not in an obvious spot so i wont make a big deal of it. Also, the shower curtain had black marks on it. Not dirty just not aestheticly pleasing. My daughter and I enjoyed it and would stay there again. Thanks!
