The location is very good. Just across the street of the Metro. You need to alight at hanzhong MRT and exit 10. After exit turn left and walk a lot the road you will see the hotel. Just across the small road. Room wise abit small, but all the necessary toiletries have. I was given a room near the highway so can hear the traffic. The sound proof are quite poor can hear room closing sounds. Overall if you are travelling alone and you only need the room for shower and sleeping. I think this location is good .

I had a good 2 nights stay here that I decided to stay another 2 nights. As I mentioned in my earlier review, the location and price was the deciding factor why I chose this hotel. I actually walk (about 30 minutes) from the popular walking street even though the metro station is about 2 minutes walk from the hostel. I come to the hotel just to sleep and the curtains on the bed give me a bit of privacy.
The overall experience is positive and I recommend this hotel for those travelling alone on a budget. The check in is fast and translation apps on the phone help u communicate with the staff. Will stay here again.

I stayed here for one night on a short layover in Shanghai. I contacted the hotel by WeChat in advance to double check they could accept foreigners and the little sister was helpful and kind, she later checked me in very quickly and efficiently. The room is super small but has everything you need, even a washing machine! The only issue I had was with the paper thin walls and fellow guests having no qualms talking very loudly in the corridor in the middle of the night…take ear plugs. The curtain on the small window to the corridor also didn’t do a very good job of blocking out the light…take an eye mask. This being said, the location is really good and I’d definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is a simple place, in a good area near Shanghai Central Station.
My room was quite noisy because open to the main road with a lot of traffic.
Basic, small and clean room with AC, TV, fridge and wifi.

Location is convenient is close to metro station. Room and facilities are a bit run down, Windows are not well insulated so the noise from the street with traffic is quite loud. The walls are also not well sound proof so you can hear your neighbors very loudly. Staff is very nice and attentive. If you need to do laundry p, you have to buy detergent in your own which I find rather inconvenient. It would be nice if it was provided at least available for purchase in a single use packet on site. FYI, there is no TV in the room.

Does the job, felt comfortable and decently clean. I had things to do in Shanghai so was perfect for me to just walk in and out get my things done. Not a social place but functional in terms of sleep and shower.
