Park Hyatt Shanghai

The entrance to Park Hyatt Shanghai is a bit small, but even though it's been around for years, the design and decor are still impressive. Turndown service was a nice touch. Also, due to a change in my itinerary, I had booked for two days but only stayed one, and the hotel was very accommodating in assisting with the cancellation. A suggestion: Honestly, for a room rate of over 2000, the non-alcoholic drinks in the mini-bar should really be complimentary. It feels quite stingy, truly. There's only one power outlet on one side of the bed. And the most unexpected thing was that the rainforest shower didn't have hot enough water... This is truly unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Since it was already past midnight when I showered, I didn't bother contacting the hotel and just used the smaller showerhead. Also, why are the room number signs in the hallway so small???? Breakfast... a slight disappointment, but still acceptable.

Overall, it was a very good experience. Park Hyatt's service always feels consistently excellent, and the room itself was very comfortable. My only two minor points of constructive criticism are: The curtain controls, unfortunately, weren't working in the room I stayed in. However, I was very impressed with the follow-up service and the way they remedied the situation, which really showcased their service standards, 👍. Also, both the overhead and handheld showerheads in the bathroom were independently controlled. It took me a moment to figure out how to operate them at first; it felt a bit less intuitive than it could be.

An absolutely perfect stay that exceeded all expectations. We arrived around 1 PM, and our room was already prepared. Since I was traveling with my parents, Shirley from the front desk kindly upgraded us to a room with a view, allowing my parents to experience a 'cloud-level' ambiance. The hotel staff were all excellent – warm, attentive, generous, and thoughtful. Even during a busy holiday period, their service was meticulous. Kudos to them! The room was spotless, and the hotel breakfast was fantastic! We'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

To celebrate my birthday, the front desk specially reserved a room facing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The view was absolutely stunning, I'd rate it triple A! The hotel even did some decorations in advance, and the little bear they gave me was adorable. A big thank you to Ms. Zhang Wenwen from the hotel for her thoughtful arrangements! In terms of room facilities, the comfort level falls a bit short compared to many newer hotels. I wonder if this is what people on the internet refer to as a 'bare-bones' room, haha. However, I booked this stay specifically for the unique view, and it was absolutely worth it.

The room was quite spacious, and the night view was stunning. They even gave a little bear to my child, who absolutely loved it! We'll definitely be back to stay at Park Hyatt Shanghai again.

The rooms are nice and it's great for family trips. You can see beautiful scenery from the lobby.

The hotel views are amazing! From the window, you can see river views on both sides. It was my son's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a cake, candles, and a lighter.

The room environment is good and the service is very attentive. The breakfast is rich. It was raining when I went, and the sound of the rain hitting the window in the room was quite noisy, so I was woken up in the morning.
