Hotels in Lozenets, Sofia

The hotel was fine for the price. Staff were very helpful, the view of the city was amazing. The bed was okay, there was no overhead lighting. One had to use lamps. The fridge in the room was nice to have but noisy. I unplugged it at night. It kept the contents cold by the next morning. Daily house keeping, metro just outside and a shopping mall across the road. There is Burger King, KFC, Subway if you are craving Western food. Basic amenities but clean and comfortable.

Very spacious room with a small kitchenette and provides a dish washer and an electric cook. The bathroom is provided with all amenities, except for toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Good location, close to bus stop and shopping mall. The room is spacious, with a big bathroom. Everything is clean. The front desk staff are so nice, I have to catch early flight so I cannot have breakfast during the operation hours. But they prepared the breakfast take-away for me. Also they helped me to arrange airport drop-off. Super!

The attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable. For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before. Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station. Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

Alright hotel. Strange decorations. It used to be a Sofia classic, built by a famous Japanese architect. They still kept tye nice Japanese garden. The restaurants are nice too. Breakfast was adequate, thought not copious. Close to the metro, nice views.

Convenient location, good service, but the hotel does not reach the four-star standard, and the room on the road will be priced.

In addition to the big room, there is no other advantage. There is a writing desk. I plan to work there. As a result, there is no light. It is too dark. It is too inconvenient to be able to squat on the bedside table.

The room is very new, the breakfast is great, the place to visit is less, not in the city center, the nearest shopping mall is 10 minutes by taxi, 30 minutes walk. The road in front of the hotel is being repaired, sometimes it will be a bit noisy at night.
