A special highlight was the fine dining restaurant located within the hotel. The food, presentation, service, and overall dining experience were truly excellent and added something very special to our stay. Overall, the hotel offers a great combination of comfort, style, convenience, and quality. I would gladly stay here again."

On my visit very quiet this time of year in Sofia but I enjoyed Sofia No restaurant nearby have to go into city . There are shops nearby about 1/2 km away but it’s ok and safe Night time few doggy characters around this part of town but avoid them 24 hr reception was helpful and warm Just if you come in late grab some food for your room as nothing to eat around"

Vitosha Park Hotel - Free Indoor Pool & Parking
"The location of the hotel is near by the Vitosha park. You can reach it by the airport with the underground and then 1km walk. Downtown is 4 underground stops away. The hotel is quite big, with gymn, sauna, 2 restaurants, a recreational area. Rooms are large enough. However, the cleaning might be improved (carpeting also in the bathroom and not really clean...). I was in a group and each had some minor issues to be asked for (blanket, kettle, tea in the room yes but not coffee...). Breakfast is ok but again, a toaster might have been appreciated and it is a minor stuff. It could be a good choice in case you have to work at the Technical University, just close by."

"Absolutely hated my stay here. I know it’s only a 3 star but that doesn’t mean certain standards shouldn’t be adhered to! I booked a superior room but it was filthy. The mini fridge was gungy and the drain hole clogged with black gunk. The curtains had bugs hiding in them and the wallpaper peeling and dated. The carpet was that bad I wore my shoes to walk round the room and the shower, taps and basin were in dire need of a good bleach and scrub. Soap scum and hairs, no plug, the shower head grimy, There was also a terrible stench if sewage in the room I presumed was coming from a drain in the bathroom. I didn’t use the shower, it was too dirty. The hotel is in dire need of a good clean and update. The pool itself looked nice but the outer areas I was looking forward to enjoying again were dirty with broken furniture . It basically looked like a 1970s hostel. There were silverfish in the room . And other bugs which were horrible ! Windows that didn’t shut or were cracked. Only one lift worked. Pretty bad show. That said, the staff were nice enough. Not their fault the management is so bad. Domestic staff nice enough too but they obviously don’t clean the taps and shower head etc. The area is not great as there is nothing there apart from a Lidl a ten minute walk away. The road is constantly noisy too. If you want to go anywhere you will need a taxi. Shame as if it was given a good overhaul it could be so much better. I have to return in a few weeks but will certainly avoid this place. The photos on the web are obviously from a long time ago."

"This hotel has a wonderful breakfast spread. We enjoyed the breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. There is a wide choice of selection and everything was delicious. The room was clean and spacious, though the furnishings are dated. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Not the best location in Sofia, but convenient for trams. About 10 minutes walk to Sofia centre or Sofia Mall. 5 minutes walk to the Ladies Market. Not many shops or restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel"

Further there are bugs in the room and it is very unhealthy to stay there for just one night. Not healthy room for people who have difficulties breathing normally. "I stayed at this hotel twice before and although it was pleasant, it wasn't any more than expected. This time was different though. I arrived 11.45pm and went straight to bed. Next night about 10pm i went to the balcony and on the curtain was a cockroach which I killed and kept to show the manager next day. The next day I left the hotel very early and returned late in the afternoon. I had a shower and then decided to take a nap. After a while I felt something crawling on my face, yes, a cockroach. I swiped off and it landed the other side of the bed so i pictured a videoed it. When I told the receptionist she put on a puzzled face claiming she did not know what a cockroach is. I invited her to come to my room to see them, which she did. She took a look at them on the floor which I covered with glasses and one of them was still alive. Asking to speak to the manager who was off at that time, she returned to reception. Shortly after, my hotel phone rang from receptionist and told me the manager suggested I keep the balcony door and the window closed. So the receptionist said she could give another room, but, I would have to pay extra. Because of this I decided to leave (and go to a different hotel Metropolitan. You must read my review of it) and then had the cheek to demand payment for that night. I just laughed, at their inability to provide any type of customer service. PS: I put the cockroaches in a clear plastic container and left them on the receptionist's desk. Didn't want to be charged with stealing hotel property lmao"

"Spacious, well decorated room with good sized bed and mattress. However, room got stuffy at night and air con wasn’t really working. Breakfast was good in terms of spread but the room needs more tables - or separate the bigger tables as it was hard to find seating during the weekend at 8.30am… location was great next to the metro and an easy walk to Vitosha Boulevard."
