Location & Access:
Great, convenient location. It's very close to the Orange Line at Zhongshan Elementary School metro station and only a 10-15 minute walk from the Red Line. Positioned at the beginning of the street, it sits just a short walk away from busier nightlife areas, but stays quiet enough for a good night's rest. Everything you need - from supermarkets to 7-Elevens - is right in the immediate neighborhood.
🛋️ Rooms & Amenities:
Spacious Layout: Stayed in the Business Room, which is quite spacious and includes a small living area with a couch and TV. There's plenty of space to unpack your luggage.
Bathroom & Toiletries: Highlights a large bathroom with a Japanese electronic toilet, shower, and separate bathtub. The standout feature is the incredible Verbena-scented shampoo and shower gel - easily the absolute best part of the room!
Bed & AC Caveats: The mattress is extremely hard (spring-style); if you prefer a softer bed, request an extra blanket to layer underneath, as mattress toppers aren't available. The AC struggles to reach super-cold temperatures; setting it to 16°C won't make it freezing, but it keeps the room reasonably comfortable.
They also Include a tea kettle and a mini-fridge.
🍱 Dining:
Breakfast is included with a limited variety of hot dishes, bread, and fruit. It is very traditional Asian-focused and fairly plain in flavor, which wasn't to my personal taste, but might suit others looking for a local breakfast.
🛌🏻 Service:
The reception staff speaks limited English, but they are patient, kind, and helpful.
⚖️The Verdict: A clean and spacious option in a practical location. As long as you don't mind a very firm mattress and traditional Asian breakfast, it's a solid, comfortable stay!
