Coming to Yunomine Onsen, we knew we were coming to a very historical place, Minshuku Adumayaso feels very ancient. From the outside it looks old, from the inside you know it's old and needs some TLC. The room's walls are peeling, fixtures are relics, and furniture also old but functional. The tatami mats though look good. The futon are thin, but the bedding was nice. The breakfast was wonderful! The onsen, we took one walk in, then walked out and went to the public bathroom. It just looks very uncleanly and shabby.
While it is one of the more affordable options there, we pretty much felt it might've been better to stay in our car. It's passable, but just know what you're getting into.

It is located in Yunomine Onsen, where the steam rises, and you can also take a bath at the sister hotel, Ryokan Azumaya, which is a member of the Secluded Hot Springs Association (However, when I visited, Azumaya was closed.) Originally, the hot spring here is one of my favorite hot springs in the top 10 in Japan. Some people may be worried about the building because it feels like it is quite loose, but it was quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious, with rare items such as venison sashimi.
