Afternoon Tea is excellent. I took friends from Paris and one of them is in a wheelchair. The staff were beyond helpful and made the day very special. My friends were made to feel very important as so did everyone in the dining room. It’s a very special place.

This is our second stay at Cliveden. Such a beautiful house and gardens with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Sebastian greeted us and took us to our lovely room where some treats awaited us. We had champagne, birthday and anniversary brownies and balloons gifted to us! The whole stay was wonderful but the meal in the evening in the Cliveden dining room was exceptional, I believe Liam was the chef. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Cliveden.

Cliveden House is an amazing hotel and also has incredible grounds. The service is impeccable in all areas of the hotel. The food was excellent and service great. The bedrooms are excellent with beautiful views. See the photos. Book in advance!

Wonderful to experience a stay on this historic estate with so much history - much of it still in situ. Incredible house and spa with excellent and friendly service. Naturally this comes at a price and still more charges on the bill at check out but we did not regret it. Good breakfast spread although we did not feel that the quality and presentation of the hot dishes was up to the same high standards. Similarly our dinner in the restaurant - amazing setting, wines and service but we felt that the quality of the cooking food / whilst nothing bad - did not really justify the high prices charged on the A La carte menu hence this 4 not 5 star review. Otherwise a very special stay.

A fantastic stay at Cliveden; we loved it. Staff all extremely helpful and assisted us very well throughout our stay. Special mention to Caroline, front of house, who greeted us so warmly and looked after us. Hotel suite, Queen Charlotte, was terrific! Good variety of food in menus. Breakfast very good. Stunning views overlooking beautiful National Trust grounds. We hope to visit this beautiful historical house again.

This is a wonderful place. There was a warm welcome by all staff. The room was very comfortable, and facilities second to none. The spa is superb. Plenty of choice for a delicious meal. The Aster Grill is ideal. The access for walks through the beautiful grounds to the river is amazing. Thank you, a perfect place to stay.

From the moment we arrived everything about Cliveden was special. My friend and I stayed on an overnight spa break and enjoyed our stay here greatly. The house is stunning alongside gorgeous grounds and scenery. We had excellent customer service from all the staff we came into contact with. We ate at the Astor Grill and The Dining room and the food was superb in both restaurants. My only critique would be although the service was great, dinner felt a little rushed in the dining room. Had one of the best facials I’ve had from therapist Tania. All in all we wished had booked for longer but will be back. A very special place to stay.

We visited Cliveden House for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We took our two dogs. What a place it is. Great architecture and stunning grounds. But the heartbeat of the House is the staff. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. We stayed in a suite, but spent more of the time in the main lounge or the residents' bar. We hope to return .
