Gorgeous rooms in the perfect location. A small place, with probably just 15 rooms or so, but the rooms are spectacular. I'd avoid the breakfast if you have Western tastes. None of the four of us liked it, though I'm sure Japanese people would have eaten it happily. We like a lot of Japanese dishes, but not the stuff they eat for breakfast. Very little English spoken, but Google Translate helps a lot. A very nice stay, overall.

Magnifique ryokan très bien placé, un accueil excellent et un petit déjeuner japonais au delà de nos désirs La chambre était superbe nous avions choisi avec futon et avons dormi parfaitement bien Calme et sérénité voilà ce qui résume le lieu Merci aussi pour avoir envoyé mes clés de valise à l hôtel de Kyoto
