Sergeant House Boutique Villa & Private Beach

There aren’t quite enough words to say how incredible our stay was. From the warm welcome and meal at 11pm to accommodate our late arrival, to the final moments, everything was just perfect. All the staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful and comfortable as possible. It is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very well maintained. We stayed in the Bungalow, with 3 bedrooms (all en suite), and a large lounge room. It was the perfect space for our family. We cannot wait to come back!

We stayed in the "Gate House" for 10 nights and had the most amazing time here! We had planned to stay for shorter, but once we were there we had to extent our stay! Sergeant House is a true pearl hidden in the business of Unawatuna Beach. The rooms are beautiful and comfy, the service is very fast and efficient, food was very good and the pool fantastic. We loved that we could spend the days exploring Unawatuna and then always come back to our own quite, little hidden oasis. This place is a true gem that I can highly recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Sergeant House and were so impressed by the peaceful atmosphere. From the start, Chathuri was such a friendly and approachable host, and the entire staff was equally attentive and easy to talk to throughout our visit. We particularly loved the Guest House Suite. It provided us with so much space to relax, and the bed was easily one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The facilities really set this place apart: • The Breakfast: We looked forward to the large, delicious breakfast every morning—it was the perfect start to our day. • The Property: Having access to a private beach, a serene spa, and a lovely library gave us plenty of options for downtime. • Beach Gear: We really appreciated that they provided snorkeling and beach equipment, which made our trips to the water completely hassle-free. If you are looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Unawatuna with a personal touch, this is it. We can't wait to come back!

I would highly recommend Sergeant House. The rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated and good air conditioning. Lots of welcome extras included such as insect repellent, cookies, robes, sunhat and beach towels. The hotel is in a great location but set back from the road so lovely and peaceful. The manager was really helpful in arranging tours and airport transfers

Amazing place, cool art everywhere and huge rooms, lovely private beach where you can spot sea turtles, lovely staff and breakfast. Monkeys in the trees and fish in the ponds, a scene of tranquility only a short tuk tuk frol galle fort.
