Las Hayas Ushuaia Resort

I am on a business trip halfway a year. The service at this hotel is really 5 stars. Bar's sandwiches and soups are the most exquisite meals I have ever eaten in South America, and the potato chips are also the best; the hotel can be seen at a small size. The scenery of the town, the lobby, the restaurant, the layout of the rooms are exquisite, and the journey throughout Ushuaia is great!

We stayed at Hosteria Ailen last March 2019 for 3 nights , we like very much , what most attracted us was the cleaning of the room and the attention given by the owner Mr Antônio . The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Mr. Antônio helped us with the tours , restaurant tips , brought us to the center on the first day , very requested .

This hotel was excellent for a three day stay in Ushuaia! The view of the city and the channel was awesome, the room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was good (but so is the food in town, so recommend going into town for dinner a time or two as well). The breakfast that was included was also very good. The staff I dealt with were all very friendly and helpful as well. The hotel does offer a shuttle, but it quits running kind of early so I was glad to have a car....downtown Ushuaia is a bit far for most folks to walk, and the trip back to the hotel is all uphill. Parking is very convenient if you do have a car. There is also a nice set of hiking trails right next to the property that made for an enjoyable few hours. All told I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and would definitely consider staying here again.

Rooms are tiny, you cant even open one suitcase. We requested 2 twin beds and got one double bed that was, again, pretty small. The guy at the reception had zero motivation to help us and the whole thing was frustrating. At the end he suggested that they separate the bed the following day, but given how tiny this room was we preferred to keep it as one bed so that at least we'll be able to open our luggage. The worst part was the mattress, it was sunken in the middle, so was really uncomfortable, and you could feel every minor movement of the other person. I've never experienced such a bad mattress in my life. In the room we had a kettle with no tea/coffee/sugar, so my mom went to the reception to ask for teabags, the same rude guy there claimed this is how ”it's supposed to be this way, go buy your own teabags”. He was doing her a favor and agreed(!) to give her one teabag and one sugar. She was so embarrassed by this behavior that she said never mind and turned to leave, at this point this rude guy mumbled in his broken english ”these people...” So she could here. English is obviously not his native language, but it was extremely important for him to insult her, so he made the effort. It was clear that we were not welcome there, so obviously I do not recommend this place to anyone. Never experienced such poor service. Also, the breakfast is pretty poor, and the breads and croissants were completely burnt. The only have eggs, one type of cheese, ham, cearels and bread & croissants. Nothing more that that, which looks extremely poor. The good parts - the rooms are super clean, and the rest of the staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Staying at a hotel on the mountain and the view is beyond praise! The breakfast restaurant every morning and the fire roasting in the evening have a sense of ”back to the past”, but at the same time, it is very comfortable. However, the breakfast content is actually a bit monotonous, but this is Ushuaia after all, so you can’t ask for too much.
