Hotels near Palazzo Ca＇ Faccanon in Venice

I would definitely recommend this ho(s)tel to young people. All the team was kind and helpful, although a very few of them spoke italian. The location is amazing, San Marco and its beautiful surroundings easy to reach by vaporetto number 2 - by the way.. if you are planning to spend at least 2-3 days it‘s worth buying a Venice card. Our bedroom was absolutely clean and the mattress comfortable. Still I would have appreciated one more towel pro person… by the high rate we paid.

Didn’t stay here but had a meal at lunch time. The spaghetti bolognese was incredible and very reasonably priced! It was away from the busy streets and was a lovely atmosphere. The inside was a little bit dated but would definitely recommend.

We stayed as a couple in October and found the hotel to be conveniently situated in a nice area with easy access to the water bus terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice enough with modern design. The shower is on the small side and I found the mattress uncomfortable however my wife found it acceptable. The breakfast was not great and the coffee poor for Italy but there are plenty of places for coffee and breakfast within a five minute walk. Overall I would return to this hotel as it’s an ideal base with clean rooms in a nice area and a convenient location, when visiting Venice your not going to be spending that much time in the hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Panorama for a long weekend and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The taxi transport from the airport was seamless even though we were a bit worried about having to get the boat to the Lido very late in the evening. The hotel was very welcoming and our room was lovely, large and very comfortable with a sea view across the bay. Breakfast was plentiful and very relaxed and the weather was warm enough to have coffee on the terrace which was a welcome bonus. The hotel reception team arranged a free trip to Murano which was facinating and they also organised a private water taxi tour around Venice which was well worth it. They are so friendly & knowledgeable. The hotel was also within waking distance to some lovely restaurants and we walked to the beaches which took about 10 minutes and was worth it. The hotel is also directly opposite the water bus station so it made it so easy for getting about. It was nice to come back to a quieter area in the evening with the most amazing views. All in all a very lovely weekend. Thankyou!

The location is super conveninet as it is just near to the main train station. You dont have to drag your luggage or use the water taxi to check in your hotel. Downside is the 1st room was assigned to us is so smelly untill we couldnt take it and call to change another room instead. Luckily the customer officer on duty, he came to our room and take a look and agreed to change us to another room which was actually at the other building. We really appreciate that and he did apologized for what we encounter and give us a complimentary 2 glasses of wine. yet, so much time wasted on check in and check out process, and the hotel has got so much stair, even it bring you to the exact floor but there is still up and down stairs which you have to suffer to carry your heavy luggage in order to check in to your room. I guess thats how most of the European hotel being structured and designed but its so much hassle if u have a heavy luggage to travel around Europe. The 2nd room is bigger yet hot water dint work properly for the 1st night, i was shower in shirvering, and thats probably how i catch my flu! The kettle in the room after we boiled the water, there is a layer of Wax appear on the water surface, which I dont know why and it looks dirty to me.. hence I have asked to change the kettle too, and luckily they bring us a new one which fix the issue. Overall, if you are only loooking for the convenient and doesnt mind so much on the size of the room and comfortability, you can still go ahead with this hotel.

An ideal location only a few minutes walk away from the Rialto Bridge our apartment was in a block not far from Hotel Ai Reali. We went there first to check in and get our key. We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

We've been coming to Venice now for 30 years.. and haven't yet experienced any bad hotels.. This one is no exception.. It's true, as with everything in life, you get what you pay for... I do think this offers slightly more than some in the same price range.. an Excellent coffee machine and vending machine offering snacks and water. Not the largest cup of coffee in the world, but at 70cents well worth it and a bottle of water to take out with you as you start the day at just 1 euro . How can you complain. Staff are very friendly (remember guys there may be a language barrier.... but I don't speak Italian but have always managed a very pleasant conversation with everyone I've met there) some rooms are small.. but they are clearly described on their website .. if you want a large room... book one. If you want a view, pay for it! All we really need is a clean room with somewhere comfy to sleep.. I've always found this... We were very worried about staying in this hotel after reading some of the reviews but we had a good experience when we arrived. The hotel is only two stops on the water bus from the airport and was very easy to get to. In the local area there are lots of good bars and restaurants. We especially enjoyed al parlamento which is just across from the hotel - lovely pizza and cocktails! In the hotel we found a hot shower, clean towels everyday and working air-con. The decor is very dated and could do with an update but this is a budget hotel. The breakfast is very basic and we only ate it 2 out of the 4 days we stayed. If you are looking for a large meal to set you up for the day you will be disappointed but if you need a quick coffee then it’s fine. As it was a city break we only really used the hotel for sleeping at night and it is fine for this. If you intend to spend more of the day there then perhaps pay extra for a more expensive hotel. Overall I think you get what you pay for in this hotel.

The hotel itself is very quaint and clean. The problem with this hotel is the very poor customer service from the front desk. Most of us in the group felt that they were very rude and really didn’t want to help us with any of our questions. They can be very short and curt. The evening clerk is as the most willing to assist us. The hotel is in a residential area, which is a very nice neighborhood. To find the restaurants you would need to walk about 15-20 minutes to find any eating places need to go to the main street and turn left to the very end and there you’ll find a lot of interesting places as well as a larger supermarket. Upon asking the front desk person what is there to do on this island? She had replied to whatever you want! He walked away with an attitude. The room itself was fine. It’s a cute hotel. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of being on the main island. It would actually be very tough to move your luggage around the cobblestone roads and multiple stairs on the main island. If I were to come back to Venice again, I would stay at a different hotel, but on the Lido.

Everything was great. We took a water taxi from the airport to the hotel, the dock was right in front of the hotel which was very nice since we arrived late at night. The only thing can get improved was wifi, sometimes it was hard to get the signal in the room.
