Atour Hotel Wuxi Coastal City

Everything was great – transportation, security, service, rooms, cleanliness, facilities, etc. This Atour hotel truly stands out as one of the best experiences I've had with the brand. Highly recommended!

The high-floor view was amazing! If it hadn't been raining, I'm sure I could have seen even more of the city. The mall downstairs was super convenient, which was a big reason I chose this hotel. And the late-night congee service was a lifesaver – perfect for a comfortable sleep after a late-night craving. Now for a couple of issues. On my first visit, parking in the mall downstairs and finding the hotel elevator took me ages because the signs weren't clear. With all my luggage, I ended up having to go through the mall entrance. Also, there was a bit of a leak in the elevator, seemed like it was from the air conditioning.

The lady named Seven was very welcoming and patient with guests. Highly recommend!

My friend and I, both from Malaysia, were visiting Wuxi. When we arrived at the hotel to check in, I accidentally left my bag in the taxi. All my documents and valuables were gone in a strange city, and I was incredibly panicked and anxious. When the front desk staff learned about it, he patiently calmed me down and asked for the taxi order details, without showing any sign of impatience. After contacting the taxi driver, the driver maliciously demanded 200 RMB to return the bag, far exceeding the normal fare, clearly taking advantage of foreign tourists. Thanks to the front desk staff, he helped communicate, sternly informing the driver that refusing to return the bag would lead to direct police involvement, and urged the driver to send the items to the police station for safekeeping. While I was out for dinner, the front desk staff followed up throughout, updating me in real-time via WeChat, showing exceptional responsibility and reliability. Later, as the police station was quite far, the staff proactively helped contact a delivery service to bring my bag back to the hotel, allowing me to retrieve all my documents and valuables smoothly. I am extremely grateful to the hotel staff! They stood up for me when I was most helpless and faced injustice, helping me avoid financial loss. I sincerely recommend this hotel!

The location is quite convenient, with a mall downstairs and close proximity to the subway entrance. The service was very thoughtful; they gave a small gift when they saw I had a child and also provided welcome fruits. The restaurant on the 36th floor has a great view, and the breakfast selection was quite generous.

The room isn't very spacious, about 3.5 meters wide. Specifically, the outer wall of the room is part of the Coastal City office building's curtain wall, featuring three vertical and one horizontal aluminum alloy window frame, with about 1.5 meters on each side and a 2-meter panel in the middle. The main advantage is the view. The Atour Hotel's lobby is on the top floor, the 36th, while the hotel rooms are all on high floors below the 27th. North-facing rooms overlook Taihu New City and Wuxi Old City, about 10 kilometers away, while south-facing rooms offer views of the vast Taihu Lake. I stayed in 2710, which was perfectly situated in the northwest corner, offering panoramic views of Liangxi District, Huishan, West Lihu Lake, and Xuelang Mountain. For guests who enjoy high-altitude vistas and are staying in the Economic Development Zone, this is an excellent choice. Oh, and by the way, exiting the lobby downstairs provides seamless access to the Coastal City commercial complex, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient.
