This hotel is conveniently located by the city wall, and directly across from the Subway exit. It accepts foreigners, and the staff made a good effort to speak to us in English if necessary. Our room was a bit smoky when we came in, but it aired out with the windows open.

Excellent location, spacious, but generally older design of the rooms and hotel. Convenient to see the city walls.

Friendly and helpful personnel. Had difficulties to find ‘do not disturb’ sign/button. I had a very pleasant stay

Great place to stay right near the amazing city wall. Staff were able to speak english. Rooms were clean and reasonably modern but you can see that some parts are aging.

Recommended for those who come to Xi'an.

Great service, staff were very accommodating and gave great suggestions for things to visit and what times are best to visit. The location is directly beside a metro station and very close to lots of tourist areas making it a great place to staff. Lots of great food places nearby aswell.

Receptionists are really helpful and they are all speaking English. They suggest and introduce all Xi’an attractions to us during our checkin. Hotel is located at the South gate of city walls and the metro station is directly in front of the hotel. The room’s view is just perfect and you can enjoy the night view of the Xi’an city wall. The hotel and furnitures are a bit old but in general its okay and cleaning was nice. The only problem is there is no socket in the bathroom to use hair dryer, there was something look like a socket but the hair dryer didn’t run normally when we tried to use. We used the hair dryer next to bed, it is not a critical problem.

This is an impressive looking hotel situated to overlook the main entrance to the ancient Xian city wall. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance of the hotel. Also the metro is very close. The hotel staff are very helpful. Breakfast was both good and plentiful and included both Asian and western selections. My room was clean and tidy with a great view of the city wall.

Beautiful

This was a perfect place for my stay in Xi’An. Located directly next to the South Gate for the Xi’An city wall, it was very easily accessible and had so many options around. The room was clean and had all the necessities. The staff was very friendly and tried their best to communicate with us. The staff knew very little English, but definitely tried their best. From check-in all the way to check-out, the staff was incredibly receptive and professional. They helped to suggest the best local cuisine as well as helping to get a taxi to the airport. When leaving, front office manager Jerry He personally greeted us and checked on our stay. I will certainly rebook this hotel for my next stay in Xi’An

The hotel is just outside the South Gate of Xian wall. They gave us a free upgrade for rooms with a view of the wall. Breakfast was excellent with Chinese food options, western options as well as great veg options. Front desk was very friendly but expect limited interaction if you are unable to speak Mandarin. Overall, highly recommend the hotel and will book again if I were visiting

Advantages: Excellent location, beautiful view in the city view room, very large and comfortable bed, buckwheat pillow as standard, welcome fruit, good value for money. Disadvantages: No one will tell you how to use the spring tea project if you don't ask, the facilities are old, and you have to stand in the bathtub to shower.

The front desk was very nice. We upgraded the room with a view of the city wall. The hotel style reminded me of the scene in the Grand Budapest Hotel, which was very retro and film-like. Although the facilities are a bit old, they exude a strong historical a**osphere and are also very attractive. The location is great, the transportation is convenient, and the attractions in the Nanmen business district are all within easy reach. The price-performance ratio is very high, recommended!
