The entrance of the hotel is Xin'an River. The environment is good. It can be regarded as a quiet place... Location is excellent. Around the corner is Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Food Street is about a 10 min walk. The hotel is very old. The lobby is the only part of the building that has been renovated. The elevator and carpets leading to the guest rooms are old, stained, and very dirty. The room size is average, but very dusty. You can see the dust hanging from the walls. The room smelled smokey and poorly sound proofed. You can hear the neighbors all night. The bathroom smelled musky and there are urine stains on the toilet seat. Even though location is great, I would choose another hotel next time.

The location of this store is very good, close to Tunxi Old Street and He Street, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The staff are very enthusiastic. There are many bottles of water in the room in advance, and they also reminded us that there are washing machines and dryers, which is very convenient. I washed the wet clothes I took off. I like their washing and drying equipment the most, perfect. When checking out, the front desk staff also thoughtfully brought us some water to drink on the way, thank you very much. This also put a perfect end to my mother and I's trip.

Fantastic little little hotel with great service If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away. Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time. The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional. The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable. The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

The first day to the store some nights, the boss put the room card at the front desk, you can enter the room by yourself and then contact the registration, the room is quite big and very clean, mainly with his own dog, is a pet-friendly hotel.

The most commendable thing is the humanized service of the hotel. Three people stayed in the hotel, and they took the initiative to provide an extra breakfast for free. We were going to Huangshan the next day, and we went there early, so we didn't plan to eat in the hotel. The hotel manager took the initiative to prepare three quick breakfasts for us to take with us. On the third day, we changed to Hongcun for accommodation, and I helped to cancel it. I forgot one thing, the hotel also gave us a gift package of local specialty cakes.

This lovely and cosy hotel is conveniently located in the vicinity of Tunxi old Town. The room is well equipped with all the basic necessities, the bed is clean and comfortable and there’s sufficient power points. Breakfast consist of local traditional delicacies and is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the owner, Mr Cao and his wife who were very helpful and informative. The hotel is located in a pedestrian mall but the owner came out to the roadside to help with our luggage.

The hotel is very close to the train station and is very convenient on foot. The hotel should be newly renovated, the rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. The lobby layout is also quite characteristic. We returned to the city from Huangshan and decided to continue living here.
