I had an amazing stay in this very simple but nice hostel. I really recommend spending a night on the beautiful village of Xidi.

Everyone was incredibly hospitable and helpful.
The food at the hostel is amazing too. I recommend this place for visiting Xidi and if you really want it you can travel to Huangshan from here as well.

I can't recommend this place enough. Not so much for the amenities. But for the people. I arrived very late and the host took care of me. The last night I was invited to a hotpot with the owners and accomodation service. Besides, the town is the less touristy I've seen in China. Best accomodation experience in China!

The best youth hostel I have stayed in so far. It is a paradise, and you can play games with your friends. The manager is very nice, and the people who come here are very cute. There are cats in the store, and the puppies are very cute. The food cooked by the aunt is delicious, no less than what I eat in the scenic area restaurant. There is a stream at the door, and you can take a walk with your friends and the manager after dinner. Xidi is much better than Hongcun.
