The prettiest walk in Macau ✨
Taipa to Cotai:
Start in Taipa Village at Rua do Cunha: colorful streets, local snacks everywhere, and that slightly chaotic food-street energy.
Go to Lord Stow’s Bakery for a pastel de nata. Flaky, creamy, slightly caramelized on top. Honestly one of the best in Macau… just be ready for the queues 🥧
Walk uphill to Our Lady of Carmel Church for a quiet view over the village, then wander through Dra. Laurinda Marques Esparteiro Garden.
If you just follow the path downhill, you’ll naturally end up in Cotai.
Step inside The Venetian Macao, then walk toward The Londoner Macao & the pedestrian bridge between them has one of the best skyline views in Macau 🌆
All in one easy afternoon. Perfect for walking, snacking, and taking way too many photos 📷

Taipa day guide, do not leave the entertainment venue, feel a different Macau in my eyes
Taipa is a characteristic area of Macau, China, in addition to boasting several giant comprehensive resorts and entertainment venues, but also boasts many charming attractions.
Tai Tam Hill Diagonal Elevator: Known as the "Sunset Flying Car", the elevator can climb high and look far, directly to the top of Tai Tam Hill, and it is free to ride.
Tai Tam Mountain Lookout: The high point of Tai Tam Mountain, with excellent views, overlooking the Taipa Wetland and the glamorous Cotai Golden Light Avenue, the sunset view is unforgettable.
Taipa Wetland Park: A beautiful nature reserve with several trails for visitors to walk and explore, taking in the natural landscape along the way.
Dragon Ring Portuguese: Portuguese-style small villa complex with beautiful architecture and history and culture, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the background of Taipa.
Taipa Old Town: Quieter than Guan Ye Street, smaller flow of people, hiding many local specialty shops, can more relaxed and comfortable feel the flavor of Macau Old Town.
Guan Ye Street: A food paradise in Taipa, Macau, with many tourists, but there are many special photo spots and famous food shops.

Two-day trip to Macau: relaxing and full of surprises✨
Day 1: Taipa Exploration + Food Photography
📍Guanye Street
Come to Guan Ye Street for breakfast! Although the strips are small here, there are many popular snacks. You have to try them all like Portuguese tarts, pork chop buns, and almond cakes🤤. After eating and slowly strolling through the small shop, it feels very relaxing.
📍Cotai History Museum & Long Wan Pu Yun
Portuguese-style architecture is very comfortable to take pictures, soft colors, very exotic📸. There are not many people here, so it's quite comfortable to take a quiet walk
📍New Casino 8-digit Ferris Wheel
This Ferris wheel is special! It is the only 8-shaped Ferris wheel in the world. You can sit on it and overlook the entire Cotai area. The scenery is super beautiful🌆. You can also go to the hotel to stroll around the mall and buy some souvenirs.
📍Wynn Palace Cable Car
Free ride on the cable car, the night view is beautiful, the lights of the whole Macau are reflected on the lake, so romantic 💛.
Day 2: Macau Peninsula + nostalgic trip
📍Ruins of St. Paul's & Rose Hall
How can you not come to Sanba when you come to Macau? Although there are many people, it is still worth coming to feel the historical atmosphere. The Rose Hall next to it is a good place to take pictures, the yellow wall with the blue sky is super beautiful💛.
📍Love Alley
The colorful little houses here are super cute, the name is romantic, super suitable for little girls to take pictures📷.
📍Pedestrian Pavilion Front Ground & Fulong New Street
There are so many Portuguese-style buildings here, the atmosphere is full! Walk to Fulong New Street, find a nostalgic cha chaan teng and sit down, eat a bowl of fins or beef jerky, it's really super delicious😋.
📍 Ma Kok Temple & Port Authority Building
If you want to feel the history of Macau, you must come to Ma Kak Temple. The Port Authority building next to it is also an unpopular but super beautiful check-in spot📍.
✨Summary: Macau is actually not only casinos, but also many places worth exploring slowly! This trip was easy, eating well, shopping well, taking good photos, looking forward to coming back next time💕.

Macau night scene
Macau is very beautiful, especially after sunset, when the lights come on and the colorful golden light shines, which makes people fascinated and intoxicated. Most expensive pedestrian bridge
The pedestrian flyover is located in the heart of Cotai Golden Light Avenue and cost $140 million. The circular design connects the roads in five directions and has an excellent viewing platform: the bridge is spacious, the bridge adopts glass as a wall on both sides, the top canopy adopts a semi-open open-air design, which greatly facilitates lighting and viewing.

Icon Of Macau ( Macau Palace )
#passionpassport Once an icon of old Macau, famously featured in the James Bond classic - The Man With the Golden Gun (1974), the Macau Palace (also referred to as the Floating Casino) is no longer around to be seen.
For many years, the Macau Palace moored in the Outer Harbour just in front of what is now Fisherman's Wharf. It was closed down in 2007 and hauled away to the other side of Macau where it sat idol in the bay at Fai Chi Kei for quite a few years. However, 2-3 years ago it was removed. And now it’s located backward of Lisboeta hotel and casino around Cotai or in-front of Grand Lisboa palace Cotai. it’s a one historical and oldest iconic of macau.

A romantic 25th wedding anniversary at Hotel Okura Macau
A romantic 25th wedding anniversary celebration at Hotel Okura Macau on November 23, 2021 for three days and two nights
This is our second three-day and two-night stay this year. Since we stayed twice in 2020 and were very satisfied, we decided to stay at the Okura Macau Hotel every year.
First of all, I would like to thank the very attentive waiter Eallka and her colleagues again for decorating the room for us and for carefully designing different greeting cards for us for two nights. I was very touched and surprised. Eallka specially sends us a different cake every time, which makes us look forward to the special cakes with different flavors every time. In addition, the hotel sends us refreshments and delicious red wine, which makes us feel fresh every time. It is a rare and thoughtful arrangement.
Every time we stay, Eallka will always carefully ask us how to arrange our lunch and dinner, and she will definitely have good recommendations. This time we arranged it ourselves early in the morning. Her careful inquiry was to create a surprise for us. This time she informed the restaurant in advance that the day we visited was a anniversary day. When Heting Restaurant knew about it, they cooperated with her and gave us a surprise cake, which touched us very much. Thank you very much to Hotel Okura for having such excellent employees who can carefully arrange every detail for every guest and try to make every guest have a deep and pleasant journey!
This time, Eallka and the hotel also carefully arranged an upgraded suite for us. Thank you very much to your team. I believe that in addition to the hotel accommodation arrangements, the happiest and most unforgettable thing for every customer is that the hotel sincerely arranges every unforgettable journey for us, making us feel that we are your very important guests. So I strongly recommend Hotel Okura Macau and its team. It is really a six-star hotel worthy of your stay👍🏻
Thank you Eallka and the Hotel Okura Macau team, looking forward to seeing you again in 2022️😊

Macau’s Christmas Festival Wonderland: Where Every Corner Sparkles! 🎄✨
Macau seriously SLAYS the Christmas game! When festival season hits, this city turns into a winter wonderland bursting with jaw-dropping decorations that give any global hotspot a run for its money. There are light shows, cozy festive markets, themed events all over the waterfront, and enough Insta spots to make your feed go viral.
🚏 Start your festive adventure by heading to Rua Do Alfândega. This charming, totally under-the-radar street is packed with old-school Chinese and Portuguese architecture — think iconic red doors and real local flavor. Every Christmas, Wynn Macau goes ALL in, decking out the street with life-size nutcrackers, a giant sleigh overflowing with plushy gingerbread men, presents, and sooo many adorable details. Perfect for those sunlit Christmas snaps! 🎅📸
🎣 Next, wave hello to Macau Fisherman’s Wharf (📍Avenida da Amizade e Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, Open 24/7). It’s a European-themed playground right by the harbor with ancient Roman vibes — yes, there’s a Colosseum replica! For Christmas, they wrap the colosseum in a GIANT red bow and set up a jaw-dropping Christmas tree right in the center. It’s the ultimate romantic sunset spot or just the perfect backdrop for festive squad pics and chill holiday vibes.
🪐 Wrap up your night at Galaxy Macau (📍Avenida de Cotai, Open 24/7), the city’s luxury playground. The “Diamond Show” glitters every evening, but during the holidays, the whole property transforms with shimmering gold Christmas trees, gold presents, and gorgeous decorations everywhere you look. The Crystal Lobby light show is absolutely hypnotic and a must-see.
📌 Bonus: you can squeeze in luxe shopping or grab a fancy holiday dessert while soaking up all the sparkle.
🌟 Quick itinerary for the maximum Macau Christmas magic:
1️⃣ Hit up Rua do Alfândega in the morning sun for adorable festive shots ☀️🎁
2️⃣ Head to Fisherman’s Wharf for sunset at the Christmas tree and Roman colosseum-turned-gift 🎄🎀
3️⃣ End your night with light shows and holiday glam at Galaxy Macau ✨🌃
Whether you’re after fairy-tale decorations, cozy markets, or crazy-cool light shows, Macau is serving festive realness all season long! ~ 🎄❄️

Which Cotai Castle: French Fantasy vs. London Luxury 🏰✨
Transport yourself to Europe without leaving the Cotai Strip! ✨ The Parisian Macau totally delivers those dreamy romantic vibes, with a gorgeous half-scale Eiffel Tower. Soak up the sunny days under the iconic pink building and pretend you’re in Paris— the Versailles-inspired interiors are seriously next-level! Couples, honeymooners, or anyone craving some classic French flair: this spot is perfect for you.
🇫🇷 The Parisian Macau
📍 Address: Estrada do Istmo, Lote 3, Cotai Strip, Macau
🕰️ Eiffel Tower opening hours: Daily 11 AM – 7 PM
Meanwhile, The Londoner Macau levels up your stay with a sleek, modern British atmosphere and legendary landmarks like Big Ben and the Crystal Palace atrium. It’s got those newly upgraded suites and straight-up luxe amenities. Whether you’re rolling with family or just living your best life, treat yourself to gourmet eats— definitely check out Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill for some serious food goals. This hotel feels like a posh London residence, and it’s totally curated for luxury-lovers.
🇬🇧 The Londoner Macau
📍Address: Estrada do Istmo, Cotai, Macau
🕰️ Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill hours: Daily 11 AM - 10 PM
👉 Quick summary:
🇫🇷 Parisian is your move for romance, budget-friendly stays, and THAT Eiffel Tower view.
🇬🇧 Londoner is perfect for spacious comfort, big family trips, and anyone chasing pampered luxury.

The Venetian Macau: Epic Sunset Views Worthy of Gondolas 🌅🚤
The Venetian Macao is straight-up breathtaking, but honestly, the real transcendence hits you the minute you step outside those luxe golden doors. Sure, everyone knows about the famous indoor canals, but the magic? It’s right in the outdoor lagoon area— where the Cotai Strip’s jaw-dropping architecture meets clear blue skies. The views are next-level, especially if you’re into sunny days and that Western-style, Gothic façade (an unreal replica of Venice’s Doge’s Palace 🤩)
Walk along the water and let the modern-meets-classic scenery blow your mind. It’s sooo peaceful, and snagging a spot to watch the reflections is content gold. If you want to level up and go full Venice mode, hop onto an outdoor gondola ride! The gondolier will serenade you old-school style as you float over the serene lagoon. After dark? The whole place glows with glittering resort lights reflecting everywhere, making every photo look straight out of a fairy tale.
If you’re planning your Cotai Strip adventure, The Venetian Macao (📍Address: Estrada da Baía de Nossa Senhora da Esperança, s/n, Macau) needs to be on your list! The outdoor lagoon is gorgeous all day, but my top recommendation is an epic sunset stroll. It’s the best way to dodge the indoor crowds, soak in the “Old Venice”. For gondola rides, check out the times at the outdoor lagoon entrance— open daily, usually from morning ‘til late evening. ✨

Beyond the flashy Cotai Strip, Macau has a whole different aesthetic that’s extremely underrated! The real magic happens in those quiet streets lined with adorable colourful buildings— a total fairytale dopamine rush and barely any daytime crowds 😍
Senado Square, right at the heart of old Macau, is where all the action goes down. The classic Portuguese pavement gets lit up with festive lanterns and stunning seasonal light arches, making the colonial architecture pop extravagantly
📍Senado Square: 澳门, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, open 24/7
Macau is next-level when it comes to mixing tradition with modern tech. Wander over to Camões Garden for surprise whimsical displays, or visit the Taipa Houses-Museum for glowing floral pieces that fit perfectly with the Western-style façades. Along the Nam Van Lake waterfront, interactive light sculptures add sparkle to your night stroll, but without the resort hype— a more chill, local scene.
📍Camões Garden: Praca de Luis de Camões, 澳门, open 6:00–22:00
📍Taipa Houses-Museum: Avenida da Praia, Taipa, 澳门, open 10:00–19:00, closed on Mondays
📍Nam Van Lake waterfront: Lago Nam Van, 澳门
💡 Where to go for your mood:
1️⃣ Tourists spots like Senado Square or Ruins of St. Paul: High-key overdrive and stimulus. Macau goes all out with the LED lights when it comes to these areas 🌈
2️⃣ Public Gardens: Low-key, romantic night walks away from the commotion 💕
3️⃣ Historic Façades: Find the cool projection mapping that tells Macau’s “East meets West” story
👉 For the ultimate maximum wow-factor, plan your visit during Lunar New Year or the Macau Light Festival (usually December). The city goes ALL OUT with light displays covering every major garden and plaza, transforming the UNESCO World Heritage area into a crazy beautiful, open-air luminous gallery ✨
Tap into the true Macau— these hidden glows are way more magical than any casino show! 🏮🕯️🌙🌕

MACAU 🇲🇴 The Ruins and the Remnants: A Journey Through Asia’s Last European Colony
Macau is a fever dream of a city where the quiet grace of the Old World crashes head-first into the neon-soaked future. One moment you’re wandering through the UNESCO-listed ruins and pastel-hued Portuguese squares, and the next, you’re standing in the shadow of the world’s most opulent skyscrapers.
It is a place of beautiful contradictions. You can spend an afternoon tucked away in a cobblestone alleyway sharing a warm Lord Stow’s egg tart, then spend the evening surrounded by the dizzying luxury of the Cotai Strip. The food alone is worth the trip—a unique Macanese fusion of spices and techniques that you simply won't find anywhere else on the planet.
Whether you’re a history buff, a culinary adventurer, or just someone who loves a bit of high-octane glamour, this city has a soul that goes far deeper than its casino floors. You absolutely have to visit Macau. It’s a tiny, vibrant pocket of the world that feels like nowhere else ! ~ 🩵

【The Londoner Macao | London's Day and Night, Never-Ending Here】
The hands of Big Ben slow down time here, and the towers and spires cut the sky into an ancient rhythm. Sepia brickwork, carved arched windows, red double-decker buses... every turn is a frozen English poem. And the glass-curtained skyscrapers stand quietly behind the Gothic skyline—classical and contemporary, gently confronting each other here, yet completing one another.
Wandering through, one moment it's the solemn ceremony of the Royal Guard standing in formation with swords, the next it's the flashing neon of "Theatre Royal" at the theater entrance. A red bus stands still, its side emblazoned with the familiar "Baker Street," as if in the next second, Sherlock Holmes will emerge from behind the door and disappear among the Victorian-style colonnades.
As dusk falls, the clock tower glows with warm yellow light, while the glass high-rises stream with a cool blue river of stars. In this moment, you stand in London's twilight, and also amidst the never-sleeping brilliance of Macao.
Here, history is not a specimen, but a breathing landscape.
The reserve of London and the passion of Macao achieve a timeless reconciliation the moment the streetlights illuminate.

Oriental Romance Under the Paris Tower
【The Parisian Macao】Travel through time in a second and encounter the dazzling dream of French romance
Step under the magnificent dome, where golden carvings and brilliant murals bloom overhead, as if gods are performing immortal myths in the clouds. A beam of sunlight pours down, shining in harmony with the vibrant red centerpiece, freezing luxury and art in this moment.
Step out of the corridor and gaze upon the familiar "Eiffel Tower." The intricate steel structure pierces the sky, sketching the outline of Paris against Macao’s blue sky. As the lights gradually come on, the tower transforms into the brightest star in the night sky, spreading a romantic atmosphere to every corner.
Everywhere you look, there is exquisite European elegance. Beige exterior walls, elegant columns, flying golden angel statues, and blue rooftops weave together a visual symphony. Every window, every detail tells the aesthetic code originating from the banks of the Seine.
Here, classical sculptures silently watch over, gently facing the modern city skyline. Every step reveals a new scene, as if strolling the streets of Paris while being in the vibrant city of the East. The Parisian Macao—not just a trip, but an immersive arrival into romance, luxury, and dreams.
✨ At this moment, you are in Macao and also in Paris.

Perfect Taipa vacation
I recommend to visit every Taipa resort one by one, two-three resorts per day. They are all different and impressive. You will find all you need from any food to shopping for any budget, different kinds of entertainment. Everything at walking distance, no need take taxis. Taipa has it all, no need to go elsewhere. Free frequent swift shuttles to airport / ferry from all big resorts. No taxes when shopping. Cheapest Apple products comparing to other countries. I am not gambler but I wish to come back again.#macau #cotai

Craftsmanship at its finest
✨ Step into the modern elegance of this Michelin-starred restaurant, where a striking Japanese koi art installation immediately catches your eye. Here, indulge in innovative Japanese cuisine crafted by Chef Yuki Maeda, taking your taste buds on a journey through authentic Japanese flavors. ✨
My husband and I are regulars at Mizumi, and we never miss ordering their Teppanyaki "Sakura" set menu. This menu features seasonal seafood, succulent Hokkaido scallops, premium wagyu beef lightly seared over binchotan charcoal, and a delightful Homemade Ice Cream Monaka to finish. This extraordinary experience is masterfully curated by the highly skilled Teppanyaki Chef Yoshiki. With his deft handling of knives and spatulas, he performs with precision and artistry, creating a culinary spectacle that keeps us coming back for more.
Mizumi's service perfectly complements its exquisite cuisine. The team consistently delivers professionalism and warmth. Special thanks to Ms. Jacqueline, whose attentive and thoughtful service, paired with her signature warm smile, made our evening truly unforgettable once again.
