I am really honoured to witness this colourful event, the "Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2024" which took place in Bangkok on 11 to 13 April, showcasing Thai traditions and cultural heritage through 20 grand parade processions and over 1,000 performers. Led by Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up, Antonia Porsild, the parade highlighted the significance of Songkran, Thailand's traditional New Year festival recognized by UNESCO. Divided into sections representing provinces with unique traditions, the parade celebrated the diversity of Thai culture. The festivities, including games, and festivals, spanned five days, centered around Sanam Luang.
