Nepal Bardagumba Square

Boudhanath Square in Badaguan is wider than Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. The north side has a large golden gate and 55 black sandalwood carved windows (known as the 55-window palace) of the old palace, which are ancient yet exquisite. Next to it is the Batsala Temple, a stone-built Hindu temple with beautiful and intricate carvings, and a large bronze bell hanging outside the temple. The Golden Gate, as the name suggests, is a magnificent golden gate that stands out among the many red buildings. The 55-window palace was built in 1700 AD, with walls made of red bricks decorated with beautiful backgrounds and carvings, and a balcony with 55 windows. On the southeast side is the Niyata Bora Temple (also known as the Five-Story Pagoda), which stands 30 meters tall and is a landmark building on the square. You can climb its steep stairs and sit atop it to overlook the entire square.
