Alaska Self-Drive Tour Day Twenty-Four - Another Small Village, McBride

After leaving Jasper National Park, we arrived at a small village in the BC province of the Rocky Mountains and stayed there overnight. This village has only 660 residents and is called McBride. Although we were just passing through, we took a serious look at this small village. From the outside, the appearance of the elementary and middle schools here left a deep impression on me. Compared to those in the city, their quality and standards are just as good, if not better. In addition, the village also has public facilities such as a fire department, library, bank, clinic, church, supermarket, cafe, restaurant, gas station, and inn, all of which seem well-ordered. The villagers have access to all the amenities necessary for a decent life.
