Hidden deep within the pine forest, it is a renowned temple in central Yunnan. Wansong Temple was originally built during the Ming Dynasty and was renovated in the 24th year of the Kangxi era (1685) through fundraising by the feathered guest Duan Taili. It is a multicultural temple where a collection of deities, various powers, and a great integration of ethnic groups coexist, embodying a mix of concepts such as social harmony. A winding path from the shore of Fuxian Lake leads up the mountain to the temple, which can only be seen when one is about 10 meters away. The temple is surrounded by pine trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The ancient cypresses in the courtyard stand tall and strong, adding to the temple's antiquity. The inscriptions on the east wing wall record the history of Wansong Temple in Chengjiang, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Inside the courtyard, two lush osmanthus trees almost cover the entire yard. On the west side, there is a well that is quite extraordinary. The well is about 3 feet deep, never dries up, and never overflows. It can be drawn from continuously and can provide water for dozens of people.
