Chiang Mai | Doi Inthanon Summit Short Trail, a bird-watching paradise

🚗 Doi Inthanon Mountain is the highest peak in Thailand, nearly 2600 meters above sea level, located in Chom Thong district, south of Chiang Mai, covering an area of about 500 square kilometers. Doi Inthanon was established in June 1978 and is one of the most famous national parks in Thailand. A king of the 19th century was buried here, and to commemorate him, the mountain was renamed to its current name. Due to geographical and other factors, Doi Inthanon has created a favorable ecological environment, home to a large number of precious flora and fauna, and a paradise for bird lovers, where various types of birds can be enjoyed at different times of the year. 🚗 In addition to its height, Doi Inthanon also features waterfalls, caves, pagodas, and camping sites. Among the waterfalls, Mae Ya Waterfall is known as the best and most beautiful in Thailand, with a height of over 40 meters, its magnificent view attracts many world-famous photographers to visit and shoot. 🚗 The Ang Ka Nature Trail is a short trail at the summit, with a circular path of about 300 meters. Many seasoned photographers take pictures there. Perhaps because I am not very knowledgeable about birds, I only heard different bird calls while strolling, but didn't really see any particularly rare species. It might also be the wrong season, as I didn't see the scenery described on the introduction page.
