Denpasar Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Bali - it has all the elements
Temples, hot springs, volcanoes
Offshore islands, surfing, going out to sea
Snorkeling, deep diving, crab boats
Watching the sunrise and sunset
Photographing dolphins playing in the water
There's no lack of cool and warm colors
There's no shortage of culture and nature
This is Bali
This island located in the southern part of Indonesia
Located in the southern hemisphere
Near the equator
The climate is warm, needless to say
It's a great place to spend the winter and summer
Mount Agung is the highest peak locally
Nearly three thousand meters above sea level
Active volcano
The most recent eruption was in 2019
Quite active
Sitting on the volcano viewing platform and having a simple meal is also a unique experience
Of course, usually, people go to Mount Batur
Bali itself is not big
But it is more recommended to rent a car for travel
After all, the public transportation system is not as convenient and developed as in our country
The usual car rental routes will go to the Sea God Temple, Mother God Temple, and Holy Spring Temple
Take a look at the local temple style
Visit the rituals and believers
In addition, it should be mentioned
The main island of Indonesia believes in Islam
While this place in Bali believes in Hinduism
After visiting the temples, go to Ubud
Take a look at the local palace
Market and rural scenery
The accommodation here is usually villa type
Cheap and plentiful
Highly recommended to stay for a day or two
Then head north to Lovina
Chasing dolphins frolicking and jumping
Accompanied by the leisure time of sunrise and sunset
Then return to Denpasar (the capital)
Surf at Kuta Beach
Watch the sunset
Stroll around the bustling city
If you have time, you can also stay in Nusa Dua for a few nights
This is a high-end hotel concentration area
Vehicle security checks will be conducted when entering the area
It's the highest security level I've seen in Bali
Here you can see the extremely beautiful cliff scenery
Undisturbed private beaches, etc.
Of course
Depending on the schedule
You can also go to the offshore islands
Blue Dream Island
The seascape here is even more top-notch
And the most famous "Devil's Tears"
Be careful
Every year these tears are "devouring" those who have no respect for the sea
Blue Dream Island is even smaller
Travel on the island is all by renting motorcycles
Take a look at the seaweed fields
Look at Mount Agung in the distance
It's great
So Bali is a place suitable for all ages
Leave enough time
You can still have a comfortable time
Anma Space
Playing at a relatively new cafe in the Tukad Badung area. The place is really fun, the design is dominated by orange. There are 2 floors which include indoor and outdoor areas. They also have meeting room facilities. Suitable for those of you who are looking for a comfortable cafe while working. The food and drink menu here is also delicious and the choices are varied. There are coffee and non-coffee menus, snacks to heavy meals. The service is really good.

Bali trip2
I went many cities in Bali! Kuta, Ubud and Canggu. If you ask me which city is the best, definitely Ubud.
There’s a lot of things to do. Especially the nature view is really nice. My phone is not enough to take that whole view.
In Ubud, traffic jam is really horrible. Around 5-7pm, it is really packed, so have to hurry to go to see sunset.
I was really looking forward to go La Brisa beach club. Beach was really nice BUT I found that employee make Asian people sit at the very back from the beach. So I disappointed a bit.

Bali isn't just Denpasar
When you mention Bali, most people will immediately think of cheap beer and dodgy backpackers in Kuta (Despasar). Sure there are lots of those as well, but there's more to Bali than just drinking questionable alcohol with questionable individuals.
We spent a week up in the mountains, well away from the sea. And we were well rewarded, with clean air, less crowds, and some really awesome outdoor adventure.
The hiking and trekking, while cold, was very memorable. The botanical gardens were a very welcome change of scenery as well. Almost seemed like we weren't even in Asia.
Highly recommend going away from Ubud as well, as there's certainly other temples than just the ones Julia Roberts would have glorified in film.
