The Xuedou Temple in the center of Xuedou Mountain is one of the 'Ten Temples of Zen in the World'. It has the world's tallest, sitting bronze open-air Maitreya Buddha statue, and is solemn and dignified. San Yin Tan San Yin Tan is named for its hidden valley and three pools of water, forming a landscape composed of three waterfalls in Xuedou Mountain. From top to bottom, they are called: Shang Yin Tan, Zhong Yin Tan, Xia Yin Tan. Qian Zhang Yan Waterfall From the Imperial Book Pavilion through the Hundred Steps, you can reach the bottom of Qian Zhang Yan. Looking up at the waterfall from the bridge, the waterfall pours down, the water vapor is misty, as if entering a fairyland. Miao Gao Tai is a platform at the top of Qian Zhang Yan Waterfall. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the whole view, especially a small villa, where old Jiang once lived. Walking up the mountain along Qian Zhang Yan, you can reach Miao Gao Tai. Miao Gao Tai is actually the office location of Chiang Kai-shek after he stepped down in his hometown of Fenghua Xikou. There are many historical materials related to old Jiang in Miao Gao Tai, which are of great cultural significance. Standing on Miao Gao Tai and looking far away, you can see the lake below - Ting Xia Lake, a magnificent scenery, no wonder old Jiang likes to live here. Xuedou Temple: From Qian Zhang Yan - Miao Gao Tai, go to the opposite San Yin Tan Transfer Station, take a car, go down the mountain, and arrive at Xuedou Temple at the foot of the mountain. This is the last stop of the tour. The most shocking thing in Xuedou Temple is the tall Maitreya statue. From any angle, Maitreya is smiling at people. Due to the hot weather and I have no special feelings for Buddhist temples, I just climbed to the highest point of the Maitreya statue, took pictures and checked in, then returned to the bus stop, took a bus to Xikou Fenghua Tourist Center, and then transferred to bus 988.
