Tang Tomb in Fuzhou People's Park

🏃🏻‍♂️In the early spring of February, I set off from Guangdong by car to see the rapeseed flowers in Wuyuan. On the way, I passed through Fuzhou and visited the Ni Xian Terrace, and then came to the People's Park. The People's Park was originally an ordinary park, located on the banks of Fuzhou's West Lake, surrounded by university campuses, with beautiful natural scenery and a strong cultural atmosphere. The park contains the tomb of Tang Xianzu, a historical and cultural celebrity of Fuzhou, which makes this park extraordinary. ✔️Walking into the park and heading north along the greenway, you soon see an archway with the plaque 'Tang Tomb' embedded on it. ✔️Tang Xianzu's tomb was originally located in Tangjia Mountain in Wenchangli, and was rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty's Guangxu period. However, due to years of neglect, it gradually became a desolate mound. After the founding of New China, Tang Tomb was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit and was refurbished, but unfortunately, it was destroyed again in the 1960s. The Tang Tomb in the People's Park is a ceremonial mound, rebuilt in 1982, just to provide a place for people to pay their respects. ✔️The Tang Tomb is built by the lakeside, with a very unique shape, like a pavilion top protruding from the ground, symbolizing his masterpiece 'The Peony Pavilion'. In front of the tomb stands a stone tablet with the five golden characters 'Tomb of Tang Xianzu'. To the side and rear of the Tang Tomb, there is also a pavilion, symbolizing The Peony Pavilion. ✔️Continuing forward along the greenway, there is a gatehouse with the words 'Love Left in the World' written on it, and the couplets on both sides: 'How can such a beautiful time and scenery be wasted, and who's courtyard is filled with enjoyable and delightful events', which are famous lines from 'The Peony Pavilion'. ✔️Passing through this gatehouse, you return to the People's Park. In the dense forest ahead, you see a white building, and upon approaching, you find it is the university library.
