Xingyi Wanfenglin Scenic Area

The Wanfenglin Scenic Area is located in the southeastern part of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, with a grand and magnificent momentum. The mountain peaks have unique shapes, and the overall form is elegant, making it the largest and most typical karst peak forest in China. More than three hundred and sixty years ago, Xu Xiake, a famous traveler of the Ming Dynasty, had visited Wanfenglin and exclaimed, 'There are so many mountain peaks in the world, but only here do they form a forest.' According to the shape of the peak forest, it is divided into five types: arrayed peak forest, sword peak forest, dragon peak forest, arhat peak forest, and stacked hat peak forest. Each type has its own characteristics, each standing out on its own while complementing the other types of peak forests, together forming a majestic and vast landscape. The Wanfenglin tourist area has successively won titles such as 'National Key Scenic Spot' and 'China's Five Most Beautiful Peak Forests'.
