It nurtures numerous rivers and nourishes the homes of people in Shanxi, Hebei, and Henan. It spans north and south of China and is known as the 'backbone of China'! There are also cliffy landscapes, towering cliffs, majestic and towering, but also rich in vegetation, everywhere is like a brocade. This is the legendary mountain with the ninth wonder of the world - Taihang Mountain. Why is South Taihang outstanding? People are used to dividing Taihang Mountain into three sections, North Taihang in Hebei, West Taihang in Shanxi, and South Taihang at the border of Henan and Shanxi. The north is often short of water, while South Taihang is the favored land of the creator. The area where South Taihang is located is rich in groundwater resources, and the unique precipitation nourishes South Taihang, making it lush and vibrant. No wonder National Geographic generously praises Taihang Mountain, giving the most beautiful section to South Taihang. In March, in the valleys of South Taihang, peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, and forsythia flowers bloom in competition, and peach blossoms on the ridge of hundreds of kilometers decorate the northern mountains. How to walk through South Taihang on foot? On the first day, take the high-speed train to Xinxiang, Henan. It is recommended not to arrange the itinerary on the same day. You can go to Fat Donglai to check in and purchase some supplies. The second day, enter from Xinxiang Bajigou Scenic Area, pass through Jingtianhe Waterfall, One Line Sky, climb the Dragon Plate Ladder on the cliff, hike through the natural boundary mountains of Henan and Shanxi provinces through the mountain path, and go to the isolated paradise - Baodu Village. Baodu Village has not been connected by roads to this day, and there are only 6 or 7 households. Baodu Village is also the essence of South Taihang's trekking. Then pass through Zhoujiapu Tunnel, complete the feat of trekking across provinces, and stay in Zhangjiagou that day. On the fourth day, walk through Shiziling and Wangmangling, which is the most classic section of South Taihang, covering canyon crossing, ladder climbing, cliff walking, etc. After arriving at Wangmangling in the evening, take a car to Panying Village for accommodation. The fifth day, get up early to watch the sunrise on the hillside near the farmhouse. Then take a car through Kunshan Hanging Highway, arrive at Kunshan Village on the border of Shanxi, buy tickets to enter Wanshan Scenic Area in Henan, take the scenic area shuttle bus to Guoliang Village, walk through Guoliang Village Hanging Highway in the afternoon, take the scenic area shuttle bus to the gate, and return to Xinxiang by car. Precautions 1. Because South Taihang trekking requires carrying all the way, the weight of the luggage needs to be controlled. It is recommended that men do not exceed 10 kilograms and women do not exceed 7 kilograms. 2.
