The beauty of glaciers

I have seen several glaciers, one of the most impressive is the Karola Glacier. The Karola Glacier is one of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet, covering an area of 9.4 square kilometers. Because it is very close to the highway, only more than 300 meters away, everyone can appreciate its majesty and mystery up close. Because the Karola Glacier is so beautiful, movies such as 'Red River Valley', 'Battle of Gyantse', and 'The Song of Yunnan' have all shot scenes here. Legend has it that this is the residence of one of the four mountain gods of Tibetan Buddhism, the Western Mountain God Noji Kangwa Sangbu, and it is extremely sacred. Under the sky, the glacier is white, the peaks are vicissitudes, and the colorful prayer flags are even more brilliant, flying in the strong plateau wind. On the glacier, there are thousands of shapes, magnificent and rare ice tower forests, ice velvet, ice bridges, ice towers... It's breathtakingly beautiful, and there are ice cliffs up to tens of meters high and hidden ice cracks that are traps, which are breathtaking. Compared with a few years ago, the snow line of the Karola Glacier has moved up a distance, which is due to the intensification of the greenhouse effect. I heard that in the past, the glacier extended to the edge of the highway, but now it has shrunk a lot, and I don't know if the Karola Glacier will melt in a few years.
