Stavinmind Homestay is located in Wushi Village, Taohuatan Town, an ancient town located in the core scenic area of southern Anhui, with the largest existing scale of Ming and Qing ancient villages. The village is surrounded by streams and embraced by green mountains. The village is crisscrossed with paths, and the houses are simple. Stavinmind chose a location not far from this ancient village. Design The main body of the building is a hundred-year-old Hui-style architecture. The courtyard wall is built with recycled bricks and tiles from the old house to retain the original flavor. The courtyard style is a natural design style, restoring the natural landscaping techniques. The water system is the hub of the entire courtyard, connecting the central courtyard to the backyard. The stone materials for the waterscape are sourced locally, using the mountain stones of Wushi Village. The Chinese-style rockery and Japanese-style dry landscape are perfectly combined. The environment is unique and pleasantly surprising. The faint aroma of rosemary and mint also adds to the olfactory layers of the entire garden. Public Area Entering from the main entrance of the ancient house is another modern world. The base is still a typical two-entry Hui-style mansion, with a courtyard where all waters return, a space that leads in all directions. The ancient guest hall has been transformed into a coffee bar & mini bar, and the backyard has been transformed into a boldly contrasting restaurant. Room The homestay only has 4 guest rooms, each with a unique custom theme. Room 1 'Release' The courtyard landscape uses a Japanese black pine by the water as the main view, with Sedum as a terraced vegetation as a secondary view. The entire courtyard only uses two types of plants, the color and construction levels are simple and clear, and the artistic conception is profound. Room 2 'Rejuvenate' The style integrates the native rainforest of South Africa, the lush rainforest-style landscaping meets a visual partition function requirement, considering the climate problem in Anhui, a variety of cold-resistant epiphytic ferns are used. Room 3 'Bloom' tried the nude pink color scheme, in order to achieve the effect of flowers in all seasons, a Chinese hydrangea was chosen as the main plant, and the rest of the plants are mainly perennial herbaceous flowers. Room 4 'Unity' has the most oriental temperament, sitting on the sofa you can feel the pressure of the mountains and the green pines and cypresses. Food The room rate at Stavinmind is not just for one meal and one night, each room also includes dinner for two adults and afternoon tea for two. Stavinmind's catering choice is homegrown organic vegetables and fruits and healthy meats, based on the local official cuisine, and fused and innovated by the local private kitchen.
