Kotoku-in

Its nice Buddha and small surrounding area. I took the bus from the train station. You can go inside the Buddha for 50 yen, not a lot to see but worth the 50 yen. From descriptions I thought the Buddha would of been bigger, still big though. I must admit that I was a bit disappointed when seeing the size of Kotoku-in was, given that I had to pay for the admission ticket. There was nothing to see other than the buddha statue itself and the souvenir shop. But it was probably my first time seeing a buddha statue up close, though it was rather small comparing to other statues I have seen. They have a ery nice bathrooms. Worth a stop but probably not worth the trip just for this from Tokyo. #2024wish
