The Royal Palace of Laos

If you are visiting Laos, specifically in the city of Luang Prabang, then you must go for a trip to the Royal Palace! Although the place is no longer the house for the royalties, it is now a museum which houses many interesting historical artefacts which you can learn all about the Lao history. The place is a tastefully mixture of traditional Lao and French architecture style, and is amazingly beautiful. Photos are not allowed in the palace itself, which on the other hand, gives a great opportunity for us to immerse ourself in the history. Location wise, it is located right in the main city area, which is very walkable from all major hotels and guest houses.
