Minneapolis in Full Color

Minneapolis is one of the best places to experience Fall. With just enough warmth from the summer months and in anticipation of the blistering winter colds, a walk around the city is a good way to see the transition of colors as the season change. From the house in Uptown (which is actually downtown) where I spent some three months with my partner, I walked around the neighborhood where canopes of trees just starting to foliage. This was very different when I first went here where everything was white and gray. I continued to walk down the bike trail and the leaves slowly turning yellows and reds and browns. I continued the trail until I reached the tranquil Lake Harriett perfect for kayak. As I continued my walk to Lake Calhoun, the trees are shedding more leaves, a sign of the upcominh winter. In a few months, this will all turn out white! #fallingforfall
