Wuyi Mountain is still offering free admission in April

Now, the Wuyi Mountain scenic area is free of charge, and the city buses are also free. In this case, a trip to Wuyi Mountain before the end of April could save some money. The weather is mostly rainy and overcast, and during the two days I visited, there was rain, but it didn't last long, which felt okay. The spring scenery is also nice, with more greenery and blooming flowers. Climbing the mountain is sweaty due to the humidity. If it's your first time visiting Wuyi Mountain with free admission, I suggest taking a bamboo raft from Xingcun Wharf to Wuyishan Palace, passing through the Nine Bends. Then, if you still have energy, I recommend climbing Tianyou Peak, which is not very high at only 408 meters, and offers a picturesque view from the top. Wuyishan Palace is a good place for leisure and rest. For accommodation, I recommend choosing a homestay village in Nanyuanling or Sangui Roundabout. Both places offer affordable lodging, and dining and shopping are convenient.
