The Eiffel Tower is located in the Champ de Mars in Paris, France, on the south bank of the Seine. It was built in 1889. The Eiffel Tower was once the tallest building in the world. It was designed by the famous architect and structural engineer Gustav Eiffel, and was built entirely by Schneider Iron (now Schneider Electric).
