Nongmo Lake Park

Nongmo Lake Park is located near No. 51 Xinguang Road, Ruili City, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Nongmo is a phonetic translation from Dai language, meaning pure and noble. Nongmo Lake is also known as Feihai Pond, which was once a wetland pond and is a yoke lake formed by the change of course of the Ruili River. Nan Guan River and He Nan Mao River flow into the lake, and there is an outlet in the southeast, which flows into the Unity Canal. Nongmo Lake Park integrates leisure, entertainment, science popularization, fitness, and sightseeing. It creates a Nongmo Lake National Unity Park and promotes the popularization, entity, and humanization of the creation of national unity and progress. Nongmo Lake Park has become a full-scale public space for the people of Ruili City to relax, entertain, and integrate, subtly embedding the consciousness of the Chinese national community into the daily life of all ethnic groups. Nongmo Lake Park has built a monument to national unity. The front and back are the Chinese characters of the National Unity Park, and the left and right sides are the Dai and Jingpo texts of the National Unity Park, with the frame of the Chinese knot elements.
