Wat Samphran, the Dragon Temple 🐉

#fallishere An hour away from Bangkok lies Wat Samphran, a temple housing a 17-storey rose-coloured tower that extends 80 metres into the sky. What’s most eye catching about Wat Samphran is a massive dragon 🐉 encircling the circular tower, which was also what drew me to visit it. Within minutes after removing our shoes, we ascended 16 storeys from ground level, equivalent to the 16 levels of heaven in Buddhism, and emerged at the very top of the tower in front of the dragon’s open mouth, feeling triumphant but hot as hell 🥵
