Singapore | Half-Day Tour of Sentosa Island

On my first day in Singapore, I went to this long-heard-of resort island. The island is not big, and the activities are quite straightforward. I think half a day or one day is enough. 🧱 Ways to Enter the Island 1⃣️ Walking. After exiting VivoCity shopping mall, walk across the sea bridge. It takes only ten minutes to complete the walk, which is not tiring at all. You can enjoy the port and seaside scenery along the way, and it's free to enter the island, recommended 👍🏻 2⃣️ Sentosa Express. The most common way to enter the island, follow the navigation on Google Maps, take the Sentosa Express light rail from the third floor of VivoCity shopping mall, S$4 3⃣️ Take the bus/See Google Maps for details 4⃣️ Take the cable car/The scenery is said to be very good 🧱 Order of Visiting the Island: 1⃣️ Universal Studios and the Aquarium. Right upon entering the island, these two amusement parks are there. You can choose according to your preferences. Universal Studios is quite small, and half a day is enough to have fun. 2⃣️ W Hotel. The island's buses Bus A/B/C are all free, and since the island is not big, you can try taking BUS C to the W Hotel area. There is a small port and many interesting restaurants there, giving off a mini Sydney Darling Harbour vibe. In the afternoon, you can choose a cafe or bar to sit in, enjoying the sea breeze is very pleasant. I highly recommend CMCR in picture four. Their coffee is not local Singaporean coffee, but regular black coffee/milk coffee. Both the coffee and snacks are very good, although the beans are slightly over-extracted in my opinion～ 3⃣️ Beach Walk. After leaving the port, you can continue by bus to the beach. When visiting the island, you must walk along the seaside! Navigate to Palawan Beach on Google Maps, and once you get off the bus, you're at the seaside, ready to start your beach walk～ The island's beach has very complete signposts and facility services, making it feel especially comfortable. Walking along the beach, you'll pass a suspension bridge and reach the signpost marking the southernmost point of the Asian continent. Keep walking, and you'll reach the MRT interchange station, where there are many restaurants and drink shops. The local delicious coconut ice blend Mr.coconut is also there～ 🧱 Leaving the Island To leave the island, just take the Sentosa Express at the MRT station. The light rail out of the island is free. btw VivoCity shopping mall is super nice to shop in, they have MS, and it's great for shopping!
