A leisurely 3-day tour is so relaxing😉 - My travel itinerary was: Dukezong Ancient Town➡️Napa Lake➡️Dukezong Ancient Town 🏯Dukezong Ancient Town This is the best preserved and largest Tibetan mutual aid community in our country. There are several places to visit here, all within walking distance, not tiring, and all free of charge🆓. ✻Da Baoji Temple The gilded roof shines beautifully under the blue sky and the sun! In the morning, facing the sun, the chanting sounds like a gushing sweet spring, purifying the entire ancient town. ⚠️Notice It is advised to tour from the left up to the right down (local custom), to visit temples in a clockwise direction, not to take photos of Buddha statues, and not to speak loudly. ✻Turtle Mountain Park 🈶The world's largest prayer wheel, it is said to require 8️⃣ adult men to push! Turning clockwise for 3️⃣ circles🉑eliminates misfortune and prays for blessings💞 (don't worry about not being able to pull it, tourists generally pull hard, including children🤪) ✻Sifang Street At night, 🈶local Tibetans dance the Guozhuang dance, usually starting after seven o'clock and ending before nine. Tourists can join in, and the scene is very lively💃🏻 ✻Museum The museums on both sides of Moonlight Square, to understand the past that was burned down and the history and customs of the ancient town. 🌄Napa Lake When I went to Napa Lake, it had just snowed in Shangri-La D2. On the open ground around, people were having snowball fights, building snowmen, super lively. 🈶Tibetan horses and cattle, idly dazing. Absolutely beautiful! The other half is the stunningly huge water surface! Against the backdrop of the sky, the water surface looks like a deep blue sea, with ripples glistening, and large flocks of ducks playing on the water, another absolutely beautiful scene! ⚠️Note: Napa Lake is really cold. The weather is different from Dukezong Ancient Town. Especially need to pay attention to keeping warm! Shangri-La travel tip: 🛏Accommodation: In Dukezong, I stayed at Shangjing Shengtu, where cars can drive up to the door, and the room's floor heating, oxygen machine, and humidifier🉑really relieved my altitude sickness! Especially the third-floor observation deck! Extremely beautiful (the first picture was taken from the observation deck) In Napa Lake, I stayed at Shanyu Hai. A 25-minute drive from the ancient town.
