Zanzibar, spice island

Just a short flight in a small aircraft away from Daressalam lays Zanzibar. A tropical island with white beaches and warm sea. The airport is near Stone town and if you catch the early flight you will be in time for breakfast on the beach followed by a boat trip to prison island just out of Stone Town. Make sure you bring your own snorkling gear. In the south of the island the beaches are nicer but the water not deep enough for a swim. Zanizibar is famous for vanilla, cloves and nutmeg and you can visit a farm where they grow all. Either relax for a few days or take the flight back to Dar in the late afternoon. There are also ferries but I recommend thev20 minute flight.
