Pinaglabanan River the Enchanted River

Fresh River is a ribbon-like body of water that flows downhill from the force of gravity. A river can be wide and deep, or shallow enough for a person to wade across. A flowing body of water that is smaller than a river is called a stream, creek, or brook. Location: Sitio Cawag Subic, Zambales This river is called Pinaglabanan River. According to history, the river became witness to the battle between the Japanese invaders and the Aetas residing on the Sitio. The Aetas fought hard for that place “pinaglaban nila ang lugar” and this river becomes a witness to all of it.
