perience Taierzhuang

Taierzhuang is a city where the north meets the south and the east meets the west in the most typical way, and this is what has left the deepest impression on me. Located in the transition zone between the north and the south, with significant differences in canal elevation, merchants from all directions flocked here to settle down and do business, bringing with them different cultures, making it a typical representative of canal culture. Taierzhuang has gathered eight major architectural styles and the world's five major religions (Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism, Christianity, and Islam), with more than 30 temples, forming a distinctive cultural feature of integration between the north and the south, and the east and the west along the three thousand miles of the canal, demonstrating the openness and inclusiveness of Taierzhuang culture. The Christian church in the ancient city of Taierzhuang was established in 1905 when the American Presbyterian Church North sent Pastor Yekesi to preach in the ancient city of Taierzhuang and set up the Taierzhuang Yixian Christian Church Yiyang branch. In 1911, Pastor Yekesi used the funds of the Christian Church Youth Association to build a new church in the west gate of the ancient city of Taierzhuang, named Taierzhuang Christian Spirituality Institute. There is also a Catholic church. The Islamic style archway in the ancient city of Taierzhuang perfectly combines Islamic decorative patterns with traditional Chinese architectural style
