| Sino-Korean Friendship Culture Park - Shen Garden. The hydrangeas outside of Shen Garden have become quite popular in the past two years. Last year, during the peak blooming period, I took my daughter there, and it can be said that it's the pinnacle of hydrangea beauty in Zhoushan! This time, I mainly took my daughter to visit and tour the inside of Shen Garden. We strolled around for about an hour. It's not very big inside, with a few exhibition halls. Each hall doesn't have too much on display, so you can take your time to look around. We visited the living quarters of the filial daughter Shen Qing and learned about some Sino-Korean filial culture. It is said that Shen Qing, during the Jin Dynasty, married from Korea to Zhoushan Putuo and, remembering her deceased father in her homeland, commissioned 570 Guanyin statues to be sent to Korea. Therefore, this place is also known as the Sino-Korean Friendship Culture Park. The plum blossoms in Shen Garden haven't withered yet, and there are small red lanterns hanging on the trees, creating a festive atmosphere as if it's still the New Year. The bright pink cherry blossoms in the garden have all bloomed, and soon the pink mountain cherry blossoms will be in full bloom! Viewing cherry blossoms in Shen Garden has its unique charm! Speaking of which, this time the kids were attracted by the tadpoles in the garden pond, constantly peering into the water, and indeed, the pond was full of tadpoles! The kids said there must be at least ten thousand of them🤭 The visit inside Shen Garden takes about an hour. Although Shen Garden is small, it offers different beautiful scenes every season due to the rotation of flowers, plants, and trees, which is why many photography enthusiasts love to take portraits there, as well as photograph the flowers in bloom! Exiting Shen Garden, there is a large lawn by the reservoir, perfect for camping and picnicking. Near the reservoir, there are also dawn redwood trees planted, which look very beautiful when the weather is good!
