Stanley Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Of Totems, Trails & Tranquility 👺🍁
I found my visit to Stanley Park in early October to be an enchanting experience.
Weary from our 17 hour long flight to Vancouver, I really need a good walk to stretch and shake off my sore muscles. In Vancouver, there is definitely no better place to do that than Stanley Park.
Walking along the Vancouver Seawall, the crisp sea breeze and the stunning waterfront views was definitely a big contrast from the stuffy airplane air and small personal entertainment screen. It felt so liberating to be at such a beautiful place.
Walking along, we reached the totem poles which provided us with a glimpse into indigenous (First Nations) culture and art. As I continued strolling amidst the vibrant hues of autumn leaves, I felt truly immersed in nature's beauty. How I wish Singapore had 4 seasons!
My final verdict: Stanley Park truly captivated us with its combination of natural splendor and cultural heritage. It is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Vancouver!

I want to visit Hong Kong as it is a shopaholic's paradise! From luxury boutiques in IFC and ICC, to street markets like the Ladies' Market, to discounted shops in Tung Chung, I can't wait to visit this retail therapy heaven!
Stanley Park, Vancouver
Went on a date with my boyfriend in Vancouver and had a lovely time strolling around Stanley Park. The park offers hiking trails and beautiful views of Vancouver Harbour. We also visited Vancouver Aquarium and the Totem Poles. We then drove around the perimeter of the park, but be warned that there are horse-drawn carriages that tend to slow down traffic. There is paid hourly parking around the park.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Heart stopping cliff walk!
We spent 5 days in Vancouver and this is one of the most thrilling must do adventure in Canada. At world famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, spanning 137m (450 ft) and 70m (230ft) high above the Capilano River, you can also appreciate the beauty of nature from the seven bridges of Treetops Adventure and the thrilling Cliffwalk, a heart-stopping 700ft journey 30 storeys high along the granite cliffside offering panoramic views of the rainforest and canyon below. This is a very popular attraction in Vancouver so go early if you want to avoid the crowds. We did not have to book ahead and simply bought our entrance tickets upon arrival so we can make sure we have a good weather for this activity on our bucket list.

One of my favorite places in British Columbia is the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was originally built in 1889 and is surrounded by a vast forest with wildlife all around. The bridge stretches 140 meters across the valley that it’s in. It’s a great spot for photos because it offers a unique view of the landscape that surrounds it. #awesomepic #britishcolumbia #instagramworthydestinations #unforgettableexperiences

Sunset of Vancouver
The sky is always beautiful in Vancouver,it is like colored purple and orange by the mother of nature,I cant help but appreciating and getting enchanted to watch it until the sky is fully dark whenever there is a sunset like this.Although that is not the perfect trip considering what had happened during this trip,it still going to leave important mark in heart.Everything happens for a reason no matter it is bad or good.

Queen Elizabeth Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Exquisite to the breathtaking Queen's Park
Vancouver's queen elizabeth park is the most popular garden, which was actually built from a waste quarry.
In 1939, King George VI of England and Queen Elizabeth accompanied the then Princess Elizabeth (now Queen Elizabeth II) to visit Vancouver. In order to welcome their arrival, the park originally called "Hill" was therefore more Name.
Later, it really became the best outdoor wedding shooting venue in Vancouver. Every holiday, the newcomers wearing all kinds of wedding dresses poured into the garden. It seems to be a royal atmosphere. In fact, this plant shows the garden. It covers almost all of Canada's native plants and some exotic trees, and the flowers are full of fun. In particular, every plant here has been meticulously trimmed by gardening craftsmen, and the wedding dress here seems to be immediately transformed into the fairy tale world of "Aisha Princess". The day I went there was drizzle, and the pure raindrops were like the beautiful practice on the princess's neck.
There is a bronze statue at the top of the park

Granville Island Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Fixing our Hunger Pangs @ Granville Island 🏝️
I had a tasty experience exploring Granville Island in Vancouver. Getting to the island using public transport (bus) wasn’t the easiest but we opted for it anyway as it was more economical than parking on Granville Island.
We had our lunch at the Public Market, where we found a table on the sundeck overlooking False Creek and Granville Bridge. We ordered a clam chowder to share and it was a creamy delight, literally a taste of the ocean! The cod fish and chips from Celine’s Fish and Chips were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. For dessert, we had Lee’s Donuts, which had a long but quick moving queue, and a box of Nanaimo Bar, which we were told were a Canadian favourite!

Granville Island is a romantic place for relaxation and leisure. The film "Seeking Mr. Right" was filmed here. On this island, you can experience the lifestyle of the local people. There are several galleries, artist studios, cultural and creative shops, and public markets here. In short, it's very lively.
Vancouver: The literary island - Granville Island
Granville Island is the last place we visited Vancouver today. If you first arrive in Vancouver, this is the place that locals will recommend you. .
Granville Island is located on the edge of downtown Vancouver, formerly an industrial peninsula that now attracts more than 12.2 million visitors every year. Now everyone can still see its full industrial atmosphere. Some abandoned railway and factory-renovated art district reminds me of Miami's graffiti art district, decadent and fashionable.
Like all ports, there are groups of pigeons taking a leisurely walk and people are enjoying the port. How can there be less street performers in such a romantic place, and the afterglow of the sunset at 5 o'clock in the afternoon is reflected in the old man's face, the music is slowly flowing, and the singing is melted.
Public Market must go there, selling fresh fruit, cheese, cakes, chocolate, seafood and more. Of course, the price will not be too cheap, everyone asks the price and then buy it.
There is also the Granville Island Brewery built in 1984. You can taste beer and learn about the brewing process. It recommends Canada's unique maple syrup and honey-brewed beer, which is smooth and rich.
You can also go to Lees Donuts, Liberty Distillery, and the Granville Island Broom Company.
