Trip Moments Recommendations
#Marina Bay Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
📸 3rd time in Singapore and finally found the best night shot spot! 🌃✨
🌉 Hidden treasure: a great viewpoint from a bridge 📷
On my third trip to Singapore, I discovered a hidden treasure - a viewpoint on a bridge. Standing here, you get a great view of the whole city at night with bright lights, a photographer's paradise!
🏙️ Skyline Glamour: A unique view from the top of a high-rise 🌆
Climb to the top floor of a tall building with an unseen observation deck. From this angle, Singapore's skyline looks like a sparkling jewel, capturing a one-of-a-kind view with every shutter click.
🎡 The Romance of the Flyer: sweeping views of the city 🎡
The Singapore Flyer offers a romantic place to shoot at night. As the Ferris wheel slowly rises, views of the city gradually unfold, and every angle is a perfect photo opportunity.
🌊 Marina Art: interplay of light and shadow by the sea 🌌
In the Marina area, light and shadow intertwine on the sea, creating incredible visual effects. The cool breezes of the seaside, the lights of the city, and the calm waters make for a moving picture.
Marina city walk for joggers
Marina Bay Singapore is one of the most iconic tourist destinations to visit in the country but if you are someone who prefers exploring the outdoors instead of being cooped up inside a shopping mall, consider taking a stroll along the periphery! This street is called Marina View and is just one junction away.
Many local joggers and exercise enthusiasts use this route as it is well-paved and less crowded. There is also a sizeable turf lawn where we saw a group of people playing sports games. The architecture of the skyscrapers here is quite astounding as well, plenty to see if you want to go off the beaten track!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dazzling artworks you must not miss in 🇸🇬
#citywalk
If there’s one way to start city walking in Singapore, I would highly recommend the Marina Bay Area. You are in luck if the yearly festivals such as Singapore Night Festival, Light to Night Festival or i Light are happening at the same time !
There are enchanting illuminations, deep delves into history and artistic performances abound in the heart of the city, with the Singapore Night Festival.
While for i Light Singapore, it showcases light art installations created by Singaporean and international artists. These artworks are created with energy-saving lightings and/or environmentally-friendly materials to encourage festival goers to integrate sustainability in their everyday lives.
It’s truly an amazing experience to enjoy the night views in Singapore 🇸🇬 #nightview #singapore
Fun day out in Singapore
Many large-scale events and festivals are usually held at the open-air space right next to Marina Bay Sands and the one I remember most is the Great Bay Fiesta! It was a full-fledged carnival with rides and games, as well as a food market selling all sorts of cuisines. I tried the Thai mama noodles and it tasted quite legit. I also had a go with the bumper cars just for fun. Interestingly, Trip was one of the main sponsors for this festival, what a coincidence!

Mega fun festival
Of the many events that have been set up in front of the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, one memorable carnival in particular was the Great Bay Fiesta! There were stalls manned by owners who were specially flown in from Thailand and other countries, so we got to enjoy authentic cuisine from all over the world.
On top of the bustling food market, you could also purchase tokens to take a variety of fun rides or try your hand at the carnival games for prizes. Although a little expensive, it was a great way to spend the weekend!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

one fine day in Singapore
#mysgmemories
At noon in Ann Siang Hill, the charming neighborhood comes alive with its vibrant energy. I explored the narrow streets lined with eclectic shops, cozy cafes, and unique art installations. The aroma of delicious food from various cuisines filled the air, tempting me to try different delicacies. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a local eatery, soaking in the laid-back ambiance.
As the evening approached, I made my way to Marina Bay Sands. The atmosphere transformed into a captivating scene with the sunset casting a golden glow over the iconic hotel and the surrounding waterfront. I took in the breathtaking views from the SkyPark, watching the city lights gradually twinkle to life as night fell. Later, I witnessed the Spectra light and water show, a captivating display of colors and music against the backdrop of the city skyline. The evening at Marina Bay Sands was a mesmerizing experience, leaving me with memories to cherish.

Pretty Marina Bay at Night 🌃
Marina Bay is a bay located in the Central Area of Singapore, surrounded by the perimeter of four other planning areas, the Downtown Core, Marina East, Marina South and Straits View. The area surrounding the bay itself, also called Marina Bay, is a 360 hectare Central Business District. In this area, you also can find the icon of Singapore, Merlion at one of its corner.
You can shop, stroll around, as well as enjoy free entertainment like Water Light Spectra show (at 8PM) here. The closest MRT station to this attraction is Marina Bay station.

A relaxing road near the marina bay
Circular Road is a vibrant and bustling street located in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District. This historic road is known for its trendy bars and restaurants, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. One of the standout features of Circular Road is its unique blend of old and new. The street is lined with historic shophouses, which have been renovated and transformed into trendy bars and restaurants. These beautifully restored buildings add to the charm of the area, and make for a great photo opportunity.#singapore
waterlily at MBS
Not noticed this beautiful pond before. At the end of MBS, little waterlily under the big white one(Art Science Museum). It's all over the pond, which reminds me of Monet's famous painting. the best view point is in the coffee bar. but still can get great pictures outside. For tourists from the river cruise, need to go a little father and pass the building to the sunshine side.
Must visit locations in Singapore - PART 1
🏙️ The Promontory Marina Bay - the photo with the DREAM sign was around The Promontory. The photo is from 2019, but I believe it is still up and you can find it along your walk around the bay. It’s a beautiful place to walk around any time of day. It’s really beautiful in the evenings as all the lights come on.
⛲️ Jewel Changi Airport - if you have a longer stay in Singapore but not long enough to explore the city. Consider leaving the airport to go and visit the Jewel at Changi which is located in the middle of all terminals, but the way to get in is through Terminal 1.
🌳 Gardens by the Bay - it’s not a visit to Singapore if you don’t go for a walk around Gardens by the Bay. Visiting the gardens is free unless you want to do the skywalk, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. If you haven’t done them before and have time, I recommend taking the time to do them. Especially the Cloud Forest!

Singapore’s Bay Area… A sight to behold!
Any visitor to our Sunny City State must make it a point to stop by our Bay Area for these mandatory snaps, or your trip to Singapore never happened! 🤣
There’s our shimmery trinity, the Marina Bay Sands, our futuristic giant baseball glove, the ArtScience Museum, our metallic durian, The Esplanade, our iconic ferris wheel, the Singapore Flyer, and our symbolic mythical creature, the water-spouting Merlion! You may find all of them on souvenir magnets, but seeing them in the flesh costs nothing!

The Great Bay Fiesta At Marina Bay Sands
The marina bay event area has an ongoing event called the Great Bay Fiesta. The Great Bay Fiesta has the Great Circus De Cascades where performances come from around the globe to show off their stunts and talents.
The show last about 90mins, and I do recommend to come early to get your seating because even if you book the VIP seats it's still free for all in the front.
Be dazzled and thrilled by balancing acts high above the ground, performances swinging on ropes doing stunts high in the air, motorbikes in a small circle cage and a death defying crossbow act.

Xmas Wonderland 2022
Once a year Xmas wonderland in Singapore. Nice place to take pictures, eat and spend times with your loves one. Worth to visit!
[Explore SG] Light to Night Festival
#singapore Singapore’s Light to Night Festival is a stunning annual visual arts exhibition organised by the National Gallery. It doesn’t just take place in the museum, but all around the civic district in Singapore.
Although we didn’t really understand some of the exhibits (like the giant fruits lying around), they were mesmerising pieces of work. I was especially taken by the compilation of what people were doing at home during the pandemic.
And the best part? Admission is free.

Scenic Marina Bay Area
Have fun riding from Marina Barrage to East Coast Park. You can take an MRT down to Bayfront station, rent a bike & starts cycling from Marina Barrage all the way to East Coast park. Enjoy the scenic ride & catch the iconic MBS hotel, the flower & cloud domes & many more attractions. Find a shady spot in East Coast Park, tie a hammock & have a nap. So relaxing!
skylines of Singapore
#wheretogo
to get a nice view of the central business district of Singapore and the sky scrapers , you can visit marina bay sands located at bay front. you will be able to enjoy the nice view of the skylines as the tall concrete jungles are right in front of you within sight. stand by the water to take a nice picture and soak in the views. both the day and night views are equally pretty.
you can also visit the apple shop and they have a nice view of the skylines in fact. indoors, you can also see the outside and it’s super clear and pretty. perfect spot for some insta worthy photos.
however it is a bit hazy this weekend hence photos may not turn out as great. but still pretty nice to just enjoy the view while you are here. and can go for some shopping at the mall nearby, or walk to raffles place or the esplanade for a short walk and enjoy the view outdoors.
#citywalk
One of my favourite activities in Singapore is cycling along MBS - East Coast Park route.
The early morning cycling is the best time to enjoy the breeze and catch the sunrise 🌅
short vacation for event Singapore F1, never get bored with this city! #awesomepic
beautiful sights of Singapore

nothing beats the marina bay area no matter what time of the day. I'm secretly thankful for the pandemic period for the quietness in the city. whether it is day or night, the area was enchanting. the city that never sleeps. the history that had disappeared but quietly remains today so that we can share them with our younger generation. things will never be the same again.

One people one nation, always one Singapore
Known for being kiasu; it’s what makes us unique about being a Singaporean. I’m proud to be one for the past 32 years! Although Singapore is known for its erratic weather 😜, it’s still my homeland and I love it for its security and culture. 58 years is a long time and I’m proud that SG has been flourishing since the day of independence!
Happy 58th birthday to Singapore!
