#Wolong Pond Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Libo Xiaoqikong (day trip)
Second visit to Guizhou, I chose Libo Xiaoqikong
🚄Travel
Guiyang North➡️Libo
After exiting the station, go straight to find the bus to Xiaoqikong. The one-way trip to the West Gate is 35/person
Round trip is 40/person (If it's a round trip on the same day, I recommend the round trip as it's more cost-effective, there are buses before 18:00) The bus ride takes about 45 minutes
🎫Ticket
Xiaoqikong Visitor Center at the entrance 🐉People born in the Year of the Dragon only need to pay 50/person (sightseeing car 40 + insurance 10) by showing their ID card
📝 Wolong Pool
The first attraction I chose after entering Xiaoqikong. Personally, I don't think it's very photogenic, but it's worth a look. After coming out of Wolong Pool, follow the sign 🪧 to Yuanyang Lake
📝Yuanyang Lake (Not recommended)
⚠️My advice is don't go!! If you don't take a boat, there's really nothing to see here. If you do take a boat... it's not very attractive in the off-season, and there's nobody around. We went straight to the next spot
📝Cuigu Waterfall
It looks stunning from a distance, but it's too crowded and hard to get a good photo without people
📝Forest on the Rock➡️Xiaoqikong Bridge
After getting off at Forest on the Rock, I recommend walking 🚶 to Xiaoqikong Bridge
You'll pass several waterfalls along the way
The ancient Xiaoqikong Bridge is really beautiful 📷You need to find a good angle
📝Daqikong
Who said not to go to Daqikong ah ah ah
Going from Xiaoqikong to Daqikong will shock you~
The entrance to Daqikong has boat tickets, one-way 20/person, you must take it! The boat ride is very pleasant, spacing out on the boat with the intermittent ☀️ makes happiness tangible
💭Random thoughts
You don't need to make a special plan for Xiaoqikong, just decide where you want to go at each sightseeing bus stop, choose West Gate➡️East Gate because there are more places to eat outside the East Gate haha, I recommend the stinky tofu after exiting the East Gate, there's not much good food inside the scenic area, you can bring some bread or something
The water in Wolongtan is so charming! Clear and deep is like a huge sapphire!
The reflection of the trees next to the shadow of the blue water is as charming as oil painting! Looking at this blue water, it is easy to get drunk.
A random rough on the shore, under the backdrop of the blue water, is fascinating.
