Anshun Confucian Temple has the reputation of "the most exquisite Confucian Temple in China" and "the temple of stone carving art". Like many Confucian Temples in China, there is a tall archway, the star gate, and the solemn main hall. Although Anshun Confucian Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty during Hongwu years, it is an earlier Confucian Temple in Guizhou, but its characteristics are the exquisite stone carvings that can be seen everywhere. Especially the pair of whole stone-carved Yunlong stone pillars in front of Dacheng Gate. When I went to visit the Confucian Temple, the stone pillars were not protected by a fence, so I could watch them up close, maybe only close to see, it would be more for the ancient craftsmen's skills. The carvings of the empty space alone are enough to be amazed.
