Since I live in the city I was fortunate enough to just bring my own bike to the river and ferry it across to Bang krachao. There isn’t a huge advantage to getting a bike on the other side of the river, so if you’re traveling you might as well just get one from the several renters at the pier. I also went on a weekday, which offers the benefit of being less crowded and peaceful while riding; there are, however, far fewer food and other vendors during the week. There are tons of other things to do once you enter Bangkok’s “green lungs” like kayaking, paddleboating and visiting the local floating market.

Bang Krachao, Samut Prakan is one of the cities that can be regarded as an oxygen city Because there are only trees, leaves, grass, suitable for running or cycling around the village, with a total distance of 14 km round trip. At Bang Krachao, there will be parks, villages, shops at the waterfront market, good atmosphere, suitable for relaxing with family and friends.

Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market A floating market that represents the way of life of the villagers that have deep ties with canals and forests from People in the community have jointly established Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market as a place to sell local products, making careers and returning income to the community. Experience the lifestyle style Easy to get people on both sides of the canal Choose to buy local products and various food sold at waterfront shops. Or from the boat of the villagers who like to paddle to sell food Or will try to paddle a boat tour to see the Bang Nam Phueng Canal Cycling to experience the life of the villagers and nature closely See the demonstrations Fragrant incense, visit the agricultural garden

Not sure what the hype is about. Short boat ride from Khlong Toei pier (we were charged 200 Bhat each way per person for a long tail boat) to the island where bikes are hired out by the day, not even half day option. That cost 600 Bhat per person and we only needed the bike for 2 hours. Not because we were rushing but because there’s really nothing to do on the island on weekdays. The bikes though rideable were awful, hard seats, bad gears. There were a few temples, a few restaurants, cafes and homes of locals in every shape and size. A small park that you can cycle around in 20 mins. Yes plenty of greenery and canals etc but nothing special about any of it.

Waterway wonderland. Green gardens, kayak rentals, a unique fusion of nature and traditional market.
