Dinghai Ancient House Style Street is the core area of Dinghai Ancient City, and is the remains of Dinghai Ming and Qing styles. Zhongjie and West Street are the commercial markets of the late Qing Dynasty, with two wooden structure buildings on both sides, separated by fire walls. Each street is divided into several squares, similar to Qinghefang in Hangzhou and Ziyang Old Street in Linhai. The ancient houses are mainly blue bricks and gray tiles, with varying heights and extensions. Among them, the ancient houses in Chaishui Lane are best preserved and the streets are relatively clean. There are various shops on the main street, there are more people, and it is noisy, there is no scientific planning. The late Qing Dynasty deep house compound here is good, and there are also some local celebrities.
