Dabaoen Temple is located outside the Chinese gate of Qinhuai District, Nanjing City. It was destroyed in Taiping Heaven. It is the oldest Buddhist temple in China. It was formerly built in the Chiwu period (238 ─ 250 years) and the Asyu Wang Tower. It is the second temple in China after Luoyang Baima Temple. It is also the first Buddhist temple in southern China, the Buddhist center in China. In 2013, it was approved and announced by the State Council as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. In order to protect the Millennium Site and inherit the Chinese civilization, Nanjing Municipal Government re-planned the park, and re-restored the Dabao En Temple Site Park with the characteristics of "site wonders, millennium Buddha light, and sacred places of gratitude", which was officially opened at the end of 2015.
