干草市场就是格拉斯广场上的一个露天集市，是在维多利亚街尽头座狭长的广场，位于爱丁堡城堡脚下。在古代这里是一处行刑场，不过现在这里已成为爱丁堡最漂亮、最现代的地区之一。市场由许多临时摊位组成，商品还是很有特色的。

爱丁堡的干草市场位于皇家英里大道附近，这是一个很有历史的市场，但现在已经不是集市的形式，而是一个购物区域。这里有很多各具特色的小商店，卖当地的一些特色商品和旅游纪念品，值得去转转。
